Poem

45 2 3

The town has grown & people change
Athwart those sweet caresses,
It's night but I know not.
Lanterns up and sun down,
By the window sill, I dream
It's those promises made but I know you not.
The past lurks through only shadows,
Who knew
that you wouldn't be the same?

& while you keep apologizing
like a mere stranger,
I shall be gone & you'll tear apart
Wait and end up sacrificing
Till the time shall dawn for you to depart
Memories will haunt you,
Linger till insane they drive you
& till then it shall dawn upon you
That a monster you had become.
