The Destroyers of Wizard City~Jacob

Dracon Island

I stood up releasing Cody's ankle and letting him slide into the lake. I chased the other protectors with a speed I had never had before. after a few seconds of running hard we entered ravenwood. Draconi had made me focus on Sarah so I was chasing her. after several more seconds I grabbed the back of Sarah's shirt pulling her back. Draconi tried to make me throw her into bartelbyes trunk but I wouldn't let him do it. that was the one thing Draconi couldn't not make me do. and that was hurting Sarah. I released Sarah and turned on the rest of the protectors. I would have given anything to stop but Draconi wouldn't let me. I was in hot pursuit of Justin. I almost had him in my reach when he turned around said "I am sorry for this James" and punched me square in the face. I collapsed and Draconi tried to force me to continue chasing the protectors but my body was in to much pain. Draconi teleported me to him. Right before I teleported I screamed. then everything turned white then faded to black.

I awoke laying on a four poster bed. I was in a strange circular room. There was a door on one side but it was guarded on the other side by tall winged monsters, each one carrying a sword. I sat up to go to the door when the bed collapsed trapping me under the roof of the bed. After a few minutes of struggling I gave up and lay there hoping that Sarah and Cody were OK. After about an hour the bed repaired it self and the guards outside started to bang there swords onto shields I had not noticed before. several seconds later a tall thin man with a wispy black beard and a staff shining with strange glyphs entered the room. he spoke in a silky voice filled with malice. "I am Draconi. I have control over your mind and so can make you do anything I wish. you are a death wizard it seems. The first since I myself was trained at ravenwood. I hope you are enjoying your room." he said adding a chuckle at the end. I wanted to kill him for everything he had made me do but I knew that was impossible. for now anyway. I wanted to scream at him for trying to hurt Sarah and again for hurting Cody, possibly killing him. but i knew it was useless. I could do nothing but his will until i had help to break free. Draconi lead me outside of the tower to a bench at the edge of an island looking out at the whole of the spiral. we sat in silence for several minutes then Draconi said " Its wonderful isn't it. welcome to Dracon island." I wanted to run but Draconi was restraining my mind from running I fought and fought but once again was submit to Draconi's control. he made me teleport to wizard city to wreak havoc.
