Mommy when will daddy be home I said with a bright smile as I looked at my mother as she cooked dinner. "Soon honey, very soon be patient," thats when I heard the front door slam shut so I ran out of the kitchen to go see my daddy. When I got to the foyer instead of my daddy there were two policeman and my baby brother in their arms. My mother came to the room and asked the policeman what that problem was and that's when we got the horrifying news that my father was dead and gone. My mom and I burst into tears and that's was the last time I saw my mother with any emotions.

A few weeks later after I walked because I was forgotten again I walked into my house it was oddly quiet which was strange cause I could usually my baby brother babbling away and you could usually hear the tv blaring. As walked upstairs a feeling of dread settled in my stomach cause I knew something was off . I walked into my mothers room and the scene that greeted me was forever ingrained in my mind. My mom dead with my little brother in her arms both shot. And that's when I let out the most terrifying scream and ten year old can produce . Once the police came they told I was to go with my aunt and I knew she was ruthless and if I went with her my life would suck. So I tried to leave but before I could she arrived and took me the next 7 years of my life we excruciatingly terrible until he showed up
