Race To The Edge

Chapter 7

I couldn't sleep, I also couldn't figure out why. Shadow seemed a little on edge as well "hey girl wanna go for a flight?" She picked up her ears and turned to face me "I guessed you would" I smiled.

It wasn't long before we were up in the air and flying around the island. A quick flight later Shadow landed back outside Hiccup's hut "you go in, I'll be back before sunrise" I patted her head and she walked into the hut.

I started roaming around the island when I saw a ship docking. By instinct I went to get Hiccup but before I could get anywhere near the huts I was hit and blacked out.

I woke up probably a few hours later on a ship, alone, tied up. I could hear someone talking "she's not one of Hiccup's dragon riders, I've met them all before" and then I passed out again.

Hiccup POV

I got back into my hut in the early morning to check everything was alright. As soon as I got there I knew something was wrong, Shadow was sitting next to the door and the bed looked like Astrid hadn't been there for long.

"Hey girl, any idea where Astrid is?" I asked. Shadow quickly ran outside and started flying "come on bud lets go find out where she is" I said as I jumped onto Toothless' back and followed Shadow. She led us to a ship which I quickly realised it was a hunter ship.

If Shadow had brought us here that must mean the hunters had Astrid. "Shadow, back here, we need the rest of the gang" out of nowhere a net shot at us hitting Toothless and knocking me off his back. Shadow caught me "I'll come back for you bud" I shouted knowing I couldn't win this battle.
