I looked up shyly to see the same angelic face as before, his ocean eyes staring into my muddy brown ones, as if he was trying to read my thoughts. " you can talk to me, I won't bite" he said in a more serious tone, but still trying to show that he wasn't worried.
I nodded slowly, my eyes glued to the decaying wooden floorboards below me.
