"Do you think dapat pa tayong magpatuloy? Killing Lex! He wants us to kill!" Sabi ni Jenna habang natataranta na, she's panicking, I know.
I breathed deeply, I faced her and Cody, "Maybe this people he wants us to kill is not really innocent." I reasoned, "And besides, we've come this far, ngayon pa ba tayo aatras?" I asked them and they exchanged looks.
"I know Lex, I know." Sabi ni Cody bago niya tinignan ang batang natutulog ngayon sa kama niya, Adam.
"He looks so innocent." Sabi ni Jenna habang nakatitig kay Adam, I can sense pitiness in her.
I breathed deeply.
Why does the Alpha need this kid on our side? What is he planning? The list he gave me, I investigated on them and what I found out? That list consists of all the leaders of every creatures except the leader of vampires.
Pinapapapatay saakin ng Alpha ang mga leaders.
What is he trying to do? It's not that hindi ko kayang patayin ang mga iyon, it's just that why do I have to kill them?
"I don't have a good feeling about this." Jenna muttered and face-palmed.
"Kahit ako din." Sabi ni Cody at tinignan kaming dalawa ni Jenna but I diverted my gaze and just stared at this kid.
Sinabi saakin ni Jenna na may listahan din siya ng mga taong pinapapatay ng Alpha and guess what? All those people on her list is the co-leader of every creatures, at ang kay Cody naman ay ang mga anak ng mga ito o pamilya ng mga ito.
At first, of course, I don't know what's the Alpha trying to do.
"Adam, just eat the fucking food." I calmly said but the irritation in my voice escaped.
I tried to calm myself, inis na inis na ako kay Adam, ayaw kumain, ayaw uminom, ayaw matulog. The hell? Kulang na lang ay patayin na niya ang sarili niya.
Tinignan ako ni Adam, "Ayoko nga!" Sigaw niya.
I glared at him, and he glared back, I rolled my eyes and breathed deeply,"Fine. Ano bang gusto mo?" I asked him calmly again.
He stared at the floor, "Gusto ko ng umuwi samin." He whispered although I could clearly hear it and then he started crying.
"I know why you kidnapped me! And you won't get it! Just let me go!" He cried while struggling in his seat.
At kasabay ng pag-iyak niya ay ang malakas na pag-buhos ng ulan sa labas. I can also hear thunderstorms from outside.
I remained silent, and just watch him cry while saying things he's mad about, "Namimiss ko na sila Mommy!" "Gusto ko ng umuwi!" "Alam ko naman na hindi ako normal e!" "Pauwiin niyo na ako!"
After a few hours, he stopped sobbing at tumingin saakin, "Ate, please, iuwi niyo na po ako." He said while tears on his eyes, his cheeks are already red and wet.
"I'm sorry, Adam, I can't." I muttered and left him there.
I can't. But I want to.
Weeks have passed, unti-unti na kong natatapos sa task ko, I already killed four leaders, the leader of the amazons, werewolves, shape-shifters and witches. Masasabi ko ng may progress ako sa pagtatame ko kay Adam.
"Come on, Adam!" I shouted from the living room, nasa taas pa din siya, changing clothes.
He wished a few days ago na ilabas ko naman siya, of course that's risky pero isasama ko si Cody and Jenna so we can be sure na hindi siya tatakas.
"Wait lang po, Ate Alexa!" Sigaw niya pabalik, I rolled my eyes and sat down beside Jenna.
"Hey Lex, cinontact ka ba ni Ken or Azrael?" She asked.
I shook my head, "Those assholes never did." I said
That fucking asshole, Ken, puro pangako, and where is he now? Well, whatever, I would definitely kill that bastard, he's full of bullcrap promises and shits.
"Tara na po." Sabi ni Adam na kabababa lamang.
I brought Adam to an amusement park, he's so happy riding all this stuffs, ugh, fuck, this is actually the first time I came here, "Ate Alexa, bakit hindi ka pa po nakakapunta sa mga amusement parks dati?" He asked innocently.
"My mom and dad are busy persons." I muttered.
Adam just stared at me, "Hindi niyo po ba sila namimiss?" He asked again.
I smiled at him, "I missed them so much. Kaso nakalimutan na ata nilang may isa pa silang anak." I answered trying to hold back the tears in my eyes.
Ever since I came here in Pennsylvania, I only got one message from all of them.
Thean just says: "What the fuck, Lex? Di ka nagsabi samin?"
Van says: "Enjoy your vacation, Lex."
My mom says: "Be careful" and my dad says: "Take care."
What a fucking nice family, isn't it? They never even called me to know if I'm fine.
"Ako po miss na miss ko na sila Mommy" He said and I think he's about to cry and I'm right.
He cried. He hugged me, I awkwardly hug him back.
"I'm sorry Adam, hindi kita masauli sa parents mo." I muttered to him as he cried and cried in my arms.
I'm really sorry.
And I'm starting to regret this shits.

"Only one leader left, how 'bout you?" I asked Cody and Jenna as I planned on how to kill the last leader, the leader of the goblins.
Jenna shrugged, "Dalawa pa. Ikaw Kuya?" Tanong niya.
"Isa na lang din." Sabi ni Cody while planning too. We're actually planning to return Adam to his parents after we kill all of this.
Adam is just a kid. Dapat ay hindi siya nadadamay sa mga ganito, he's too young. "I still can't understand why the Alpha wants Adam. I mean, he seems normal." Sabi ni Cody.
"That's what I'm wondering, too. Do you think we need to find out first before returning Adam?" Jenna asked while her index finger is in her chin while thinking.
I shook my head frantically, "No. All we have to do is to return Adam to his family and protect them as long as we can."
"Ohhh. You became a soft-hearted bitch because of Adam." Nakangising sabi ni Jenna sa may panunuyang tono.
I rolled my eyes at her, "As if you haven't." I said, they both chuckled,
"Well, what can we do? Adam is such a sweet little kid." Sabi ni Jenna habang naka-ngiti.
I smiled, "Yeah. He is."
And I hope I'm still not too late to do the right thing.
