Robin

That morning he woke up early, he prepared everything for the tutoring session. Lilly would play with the flash cards he had made for Laura. She would play with them like they were Pokemon cards as Robin ate his breakfast. Her mom had asked him why he had woken so early today. She would usually get up before him, but not today.

"Why are you up already?" She said calmly. His mom had this angelic voice, everyone who would hear her for the first time would be amazed.
"I don't know, maybe I'm just exited to go to school" Robin smiled at her. His mom turned around and giggled at him. Of course she knew that wasn't the real reason why he had woken up at 5 and not 6. She didn't bother to ask more, she just looked at Robin eating his apple.

They shared looks. Today in class, when Robin would look at her, she would look back. She would still turn her head the other way, but less. Robin would count every second that pass when they looked at each other.

"1..2...3.."

Laura

11 seconds. They were lost in each others eyes for 11 seconds. Laura would sometimes not look at him for a few minutes, on purpose. She knew he waited for her to look back. She looked at the sky instead, or at least Robin's reflection in the mirror. She would laugh slightly when she saw him turning his head facing the board but then at her again. She would catch him groaning in frustration as he placed his head in the palm of his hands. Laura would smile, just slightly.
