First weeks of school had been pretty rough...Actually no...horrible. This is what had happened. So first, I am the new kid here. And that means, I get bullied. Yes, bullied. I have cuts and bruises from that shit!

Anyways, that's not all. I know I might be in grade 6 right now, but I had a boyfriend, named Ross. Yes, I am gay, and he was too. I thought our relation was perfect.

But one day...He found this other guy named Red. He fell in love with him...and he confessed his live to him. Red told him he wasn't gay, and Ross was outraged. He dumped me, and told me this was all my fault. Now, he's long gone.

I told this problem to only one person I trust. Barney. I really love him a lot. Still though, I don't know if he's gay or bi. I love him for his personality. His looks are sharp too, but he's one of the sweetest guys I've ever met.

He was so supportive when I told him about my problem with Ross.

I sobbed into his shoulder, and tear were soaking in his sweater, but he didn't care. He wrapped his arms me, and rubbed my back with his other arm.

"Oh, Max,  It's going to be okay. Ross just wasn't meant for you (NOT TRUE btw)"  I just nodded slowly, and sniffled,

"I know. I'm trying my best to accept it." I cried. He just rubbed my back, and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Hey, bub." 

A scratchy voice snapped me out of my thoughts, as I looked up. Oh no...It was three bullies, looming over me. I backed away, as my back hit the brick wall outside of the school.

"What do you want!?" I hissed. They just smirked. The tyrants kept stepping closer to me. My eyes shook with fear, my fingers sprawled against the wall.

"It's time for your daily beating!" The other bully cheered. I snarled, and without thinking I kicked him under the chin. He yelped, as I kicked him again to the ground. The leader's eyes widened., but smiled,

"You've got guts, kid. But THAT will make your beating more painf-" I punched the bully next to him, and raked my nails across his cheek and shoved him to the ground. 

"That's it!" He roared. He wrapped his arm around my neck, and pressed on my throat. I gasped, and wheezed, as he was choking me.

"Y-you're...g-going to...kil-l me." I rasped, my legs kicking around. He smirked.

 He suddenly was shoved to the ground, and he let me go. 

"What...?" I gasped, to see Barney there, his arms crossed. He placed his foot on the leader's head.

"Leave Max alone, or else..." The leader gasped,

"It's Barney! Scram!" He yelped with fear, as the three of them took off. I stared at Barney with awe. He ran up to me and hugged me,

"Are you okay!?" He squeaked. I grinned,

"Yes. because of you." I crashed my lips onto his without thinking. I gasped and pulled away,

"Oh my god! I am so sorry! I-" He cut me off by kissing his lips on mine. Bliss exploded in me, as I grinned and kissed back,

"Barney...you love me back?" I asked. 

"I always did. I'll always love you and protect you."
