The Shining: The Return Of Jack Torrance

Chapter 1

"No you leave me alone, John!" I exclaimed at my boyfriend over the phone. "Why? I love you so much Megan!" John exclaimed. "Yeah to the point were you almost broke into our house! Now that is what I call a stalker." I told him off. "Please let me go see you!" John exclaimed for the hundredth time. That was when I had enough. "No...Fuck off." I told him and hung up. I threw my phone next to me on my bed. I laid back down and groaned. I really need to get out of this place. I decided to shoot a text to Gabbie. 

( M=Megan G=Gabbie)

M: Hey grl!

G:Hey! What's up?

M: The ceiling. What are u up to?

G: Lol..nothing much

M: I seriously need to get out of this place..My parents are slowly not caring about me and John keeps stalking me. He tried breaking into my house last night. 

G: That dumbass! Why the hell would he do that?!

M: Because he claims he 'loves' me even though I only know he wants my body..

G: Well don't you worry! We will find you and I a place to stay together for a while.

M: Oh thank you! Like maybe a hotel or something?

G: Oh yeah! The cheapest hotel around here is called The Stanley Hotel. But they have lots of nice rooms and great service!

M: Okay. Sounds like a plan. I will pack and let my parents know

G: 'Kay. Let me know when you are ready. 

I then closed my phone and dragged my black suitcase out of my closet. I stuffed t-shirts, panties, bras, dresses, shorts and pants into my bag. I also packed my makeup, deodorant, and toothbrush and toothpaste. I then placed my phone in my pocket, my black headphones around my neck, grabbed my stroller suitcase and went to the living room. "Hey honey. Where are you going?" My mom asked me. "Oh to a hotel with Gabbie for a few days." I told her. "Well here. Take some money for the hotel." My mom told me as she handed me a big ass roll of money. "Okay thanks. Love you." I told her. "Love you too." She told me. I then walked out of the house and walked to Gabbie's house.  

It didn't take long to get there since Gabbie's house is around the block. I knocked on the front door. Seconds later, Gabbie arrived in front of me with her suitcase. "You ready?" Gabbie asked me. "Yes!" I exclaimed. Gabbie said bye to her parents one last time and we began walking to the bus stop that was down the road. The next bus was arriving in the next 5 minutes. "You excited?" I asked her. "Oh yes! My parents gave us money for the hotel and stuff." Gabbie informed me. "So did mine!" I exclaimed. "How much?" She asked me. I then counted the money and came to $350. "$350. How about you?" I asked her. "About $1,500."Gabbie told me. "Oh we are so going to have fun." I told her. That was when the bus came. We told the driver to take us to The Stanley Hotel and he looked at us weird a little but said he would take us. We sat in the very back and the bus took off.
