"Why are you telling me all of this information?" The white head stood infront of the red head, her gaze not showing any emotion.
Karma softly chuckled, "It's all about perspective. It might seem dark and all but it changed my life. How about you, Kanna-san?" His eyebrows furrowed while he puts his hands on his pocket.
Kanna looked at the sky and deeply sighed. She stated,"There are many things that have happened to my life. It is too early to reveal my deepest secret, Karma. I'll just say that over the past few months were the worst." Kanna turned around and started to head towards Anteiku.
Karma closed his eyes and silently muttered,"If that's the case, I'll make sure to find it out sooner."
Third Person POV
Cring. Cring.
Kanna woke up, realizing that she had almost snoozed the clock 5 times. Her eyes were all puffy, while her fingers stayed bloody from the flesh that she ate.
'I look like a fucking mongrel. I better wash off or else that weird octopus might get the idea.' Kanna thought through her head, wiping off the excess tears.
Knock. Knock
"Hello, Kana-chan? Are you awake? You're late for your second day of school. Before you leave, please pass by the Manager's office." The sound of the small little girl passed by the door. Displeased by the early conversation, Kanna has ignored the voice.
After a while, Kanna had limped going to the bathroom. With her head functioning better than before, she was ready to face the one and only hell: The Human World.
Would you like to know whose flesh you ate? Kanna, I know you feel better than ever. Why not just do it?
The strong devours the weak, Kanna.
Your mother was certainly a hardworker. But not enough to support you and your auntie.

Can you escort me to my place? I've heard that there are ghouls lurking around.
Wait, that's him? You've gotta be kidding me!
Suddenly, the horrors began pouring in Kanna's mind, making her kagune activated.
Kanna gripped her hair and shouted, "PLEASE! RIZU! LEAVE ME ALONE! LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"Ah, Kanna-chan, good morning. It seems that you're about two hours late for school." The Manager spoke in a slowly manner, making Kanna a bit flared inside.
Kanna faked a cough and said,"I guess I should get going. I can't believe it's my second day and I'm already late." She bowed respectfully and left.
"Wait, Kanna-chan. I have received news that CCG is inspecting your class for-- Anyway, just be careful." Manager gave a very solemn face and continued to brew coffee.
'Inspecting for what? I can't believe I have to hike a mountain just to go to school.' Kanna activated her eye and used her "ghoul" side to ran faster than normal.
Just before Kanna sees the old classroom building, her level of fear increased. It has been awhile since she has faced a CCG officer. Plus, after the incident and fight with Mato, she has been clearly a suspect to the CCG.

About 100 meters away from the front entrance, she resorted and went straight to the back. She doesn't want to attract attention at all. Her white long hair surely can capture the attention, especially when you're young.
'Two officers only? Wait, it's the crazy thread and big armor duo.' Through her emotionless facade, her wild thoughts kept her running.
She eavesdropped, moving forward to hear clearly what they're saying.
"Today will be your RC level blood test. This test will happen atleast every two months until the end of your first semester. RC levels of 200 to 800 would be considered normal. However, if your RC is between 900-1000, we may ask you to visit your CCG branch office in you ward. Lastly, if your RC level is between 1000-8000, you will be forcefully be put to the CCG Main Office in the 1st Ward for further testing. Please line up and we'll start by student number." The bigshot sighed, and left the room.
Kanna's fears has slowly simmered, knowing that she's the last one to be called. Plus, she knew she had to leave the place.
Crack.
She bent her point finger, cracking it.
With a crouching position, she slowly walked backwards until she was nowhere to be found.
Thud. Thud
"Ouch..... Lady! Watch where you're go-" Suzuya Juuzou, a CCG Investigator just bumped into her. Her.
She stood up and bowed, "I sincerely apologize. I would leave now." She picked up her bag and started walking.
"Wait! How come you're not in the classroom? Don't tell me you want to skip the blood test because...."
The tension and heat started to build up in Kanna's mind. It would probably take thirty seconds to run down the hill, three minutes to get to the train, twenty for the train to come and...
Kanna faked a cough, "Because... What?" Her cold face never stopped being cold.
Suzuya chuckled loudly, "YOU'RE AFRAID OF NEEDLES!"
Kanna sweatdropped, realizing that she was somewhat safe. "Yeah, totally. I'm really scared of needles." Even if she did do the test, they would able to her regenerative ability.
Suzuya grinned and gave her a peace sign. "I have an idea! Come with me!" He pulled her and started running inside the building and into the classroom.
Kanna jolted, "What are you... What are you doing?!?" She tried to break free, but his grip was too strong.
"Student No. 2, Yūma Isogai. Please proceed int-"
"Yoooooo! Arata-san! I found a lost puppy outside!" Suzuya grinned in a sinister way, making half of the class sweat dropped.
Kanna grew a nerve what he meant by "lost puppy."
She faked a cough,"Suzuya-san, please let my hand go." Juuzou let go of her hand, while Kanna was losing her patience.
'Welp, I'm dead. Goodbye world, I'm going to Cochlea.' Her world was crumbling now. She had no idea how to escape two Ghoul Investigators, a weird octopus, some dude working for the Ministry and a lady assassin. Plus, her classmates that are trained to kill.
Suddenly, Suzuya blowed to her ear and said, "Don't worry! I'll be there when it's your turn!" He winked and left the room.
Kanna stood there, infront all of her classmates. She has never felt so embarrassed in her whole life.

Hola! Been a long time since I updated! This is because I had my exams and a lot of stuff.
So, this is how it goes. I will update the story probabaly every week.
If you are reading my other stories, it would seem unfair if I only update one story everytime. Extinct (A Naruto Fanfic) has not been updated and is on hold, so it's my top priority for now.
I already figured out the story line for this so the updates will come out smoothly.
Since the viewer count for this fanfic is rapidly growing, I'll update more and longer chapters.
