It's dark and cold; the winter's breath makes leafs dance through the empty streets. A young boy rushes through the darkness, the morning chasing close behind. He's battling time to meet "the one". The fragile boy's destiny isn't to succeed; even so, the glow from the miniature jewels in the sky, keeps him going. He once made a wish on one that fell down, to change his future. Now he runs, terrified of what he cannot see. Death smilingly awaits in every corner, but he has faith in his wish.

He glance down on the thin bracelet around his wrist; it's simple, a silver chain with small rounded letters in gold. These bracelets are given to children without a history or future. Children born as ghosts, shadows, nameless. No one wanted them thus they became toys for the unknown. What purpose the name covering the bracelet has, no one is certain. However, the ones that remember the ancient times tells a tale; before civilization altered, a group of power hungry mortals played with what wasn't theirs; releasing a chain reaction ripping through time and space. Some say that was the birth of nameless children and their bracelets.
Playing with spirits is a dangerous thing. Spirits change faster than humans. Good goes to bad. Night goes to day. Subjected by the spirits, the bracelets outcome could be either favorable or dreadful for the name-barer, there was no telling them apart.
The boy believed his name was valuable. In his mind the name belongs to his soulmate. For a boy without any love throughout his life, that thought was everything. The boy knows he and his heart's desire aren't of the same nature; the boy is the darkest night and his soulmate the brightest day. They can not be, but the boy can't live without him either. He hears the spirits mocking laugh echo through the dark alleys. He carefully brushed his fingers over the beautiful curved letters. Kim Taehyung he softly hums. I'll be there soon.

Like a phantom the boy drift past a handfull of humans. Their warm joyful eyes are glued to each other, no one gives the boy as much as a glance. They can't see him, they don't know he's there. The boy's only company is the dusky mist surrounding him. Their eyes reflect the dancing colors surrounding them, the boy wish he could see them too, in his eyes everything in this city is painted in greyscale. He wants to open the curtains, see the world, but he knows what awaits him. A boy without a future doesn't need to see vivid colors, only a world pale and bleached away.

The bitter freezing ground is the only thing keeping him from falling, the poor boy's feet are pleading him for a break. But he can't stop, if he does he's afraid he'll disappear. Return to the kingdom of shadows to endlessly watches in silence, forgotten, as the world continues without him. Doubt is whispering poison in his mind, but the time has passed for second thoughts, now he's chained to his faith. He reaches out a hand hoping someone would reach back for him. But it remains untouched.  He has to continue if he ever want someone to see him, hold his hand, share his burden.

The boy disappears from the colorless city.

The boy walks under trees full of sun kissed flowers and emerald vines so long that they touch the ground. The clouds getting thicker, a few sun beams pushes through lighting up the biggest flowers like lanterns. It's still night in the world outside, however in this garden the sun always shines. The boy is walking on a path of rocks sticking up from the compact grass. The garden is soundless, no birds are singning. The only sound is the low taps the boy's steps make.

A terrified mind can change even the friendliest things. It can create danger where there is none. But what if it's real?

The boy feel an unpleasant chill go through his body. His eyes are beaming all over the scene in front of him. His breathing is speeding up. He clenches his thin hands in to small fists. The boy swallows hard, waiting for the garden to unmute itself. He is so concentrated on what's in front of him that he doesn't notice the vines following him close behind. The plants are reaching out for him, the emerald chains wraps around his lean legs and arms. The pretty flowers are purring a lullaby, they tempt him to fall asleep in their arms and let them take him. These flowers are deadly. They lure in their prey with their beauty, once in their trance there is no escape. They steal there victims will and devour what's left. His eyes are getting heavier;he struggles to keep them open. Somewhere deep in his mind he hear a faintvoice scream something. He tries to reach it but his powers are weakening. He feels his body disappear. He struggles to lift up his right hand, he slowly brings it over to his bracelet to touch it one last time. His fingers follow the small curved letter, the metal is cold and soothing. Taehyung.
All of a sudden the boy's eyes flies open. He can't give up now that he has someone to care for. The boy hasn't many belongings, but the few things he owns is dear to him. There is one thing in particular the boy is truly possessive over, tonight he might lose it. He can't stand seeing it in someone else embrace, it belongs to him and no one else. The boy's fights against them. He knows he needs to hurry, there is not much time left. He's broken, soon what's left will fade. The boy's eyes turn a sickening emerald color as it spreads. He wraps his red cloak around him tightly, as it is his only protection from the sickness tearing him apart. He must try harder. The boy repeats one word as he start to rip apart the plants, "Mine". They shater like mirrors. Eventually what's left looks more like pieces of a broken mirror then a beautiful garden. Desires are dangerous some even deadly.

He escapes the twisted vines touches in to a forest.

The trees are tall and dark. He's tired, every breath makes "giving up" seem as a less bad idea. He look up to get some encouragement, but his eyes are met with darkness. The forest trees are so tall and dense that they block out the sky and any light. The boy's hands shakes and it's not the cold winds fault.

The lonely boy walks on a muddy road through the forest. If he stops he'll sink down, but as long as he moves it's solid. He feels the hungry glares from the beasts living in this forest. His only comfort is the bracelet. He watch the letters glow in the darkness. "Wait for me Taehyung" he whispers out.

Then lightning strikes down. Through the tree crowns into a nearby tree. It lightens up the whole forest, for a second he sees them. The creatures. Tall shadows staring down at him. Purple starving eyes. Now his hands aren't the only thing shaking. The boy runs. The shadows sailing over him. The lightning turned the tree on fire and it has spread throughout the forest. The boy can't focus. All he wants is to get away from this nightmare. Faster, faster, faster. He runs past a big lilac bush when it suddenly stops. He's on the ground. The shadows are slowly sinking down against him. He's domed.

Small cold drops lands in the boy's brown hair. There is no movement, everything is still. The boy dares not to look. When what feels like an eternity hade passed the boy finally moves. He pulls himself up from the mud. The light raindrops washes away the dirt, it drips down from the boy's fair skin, his lightly rose stained cheeks and the plump lips. He pulls up the cap over his hazel hair and continues his quest.

The feather like rain turns heavy, like arrows. The raindrops hurts the poor boy. Small blue marks appears on the boy's thin skin. The rain doesn't just fall from the hidden sky, it has begun to fall from the boy-s eyes. One becomes two, two becomes four, and so on.

As he walks further the trees scatter. He reached the forest end, in front of him a golden field spreads out. Lastly one task stands between him and his desire.

Butterflies in amazing colors dance over the field, everything is peacefully, magical. Dawn is upon him, but he can see it now. No, not it. It's not a thing that he sees, it's the owner of the name. A blond boy sits on a bench far away, he wears a giant pink hoodie. The nameless boy runs as fast as his legs can carry him. And so his task is over.

He's welcomed with a warm smile, a foreign thing for the boy. Once his closer the smile turns in to a rectangular grin. Taehyung drags down the boy on to his lap, the boy rests as Taehyung cuddles him closer. He feel tears drip down from his eyes again, but this time the drops doesn't reflect the boy's sadness, they show happiness and relief. Taehyung whips away the tears with his thumb. He forces the boy to look in to his deep coffee colored eyes.

"Tell me, what's your name?" Taehyung's voice is deep and it makes the lonely boy's heart skip a bit.

"I don't have a name, but I know yours. You are a special person to me. I've been looking all over for you." Jungkook shows him the bracelet. Taehyung carefully strokes the golden letters.

"Everyne has a name, you must have one to." Taehyung turnes his head sideways still looking at the boy on his knee.

He thought back to the time in the garden, he tries to remember what the voice yelled at him. He thought long and hard and then it came to him. Jungkook. That was it. The voice said "wake up Jeon Jungkook". For the first time in his life the boy smiled, he now knows his name. His own name. A name only belonging to him.

"Jeon Jungkook."

Taehyung reaches forward and gives Jungkook a soft kiss, for the first time in his life he's safe. A sharp pain flashes through his body. A warm liquid streams down from his chest. The once welcoming smile on Taehyung's face is gone, replaced by stone cold eyes.

"You're not him" Taehyung's words stings in Jungkooks ears. They're bitter, it's worse than the dagger in his chest, impaling his heart. Before Jungkook draws his last breath, his eyes wonders down to Taehyung's bracelet, and so everything becomes clear. The name written on Taehyung's bracelet is the last thing Jungkook manages to say before drifting in to a world of fuzzy dreams, like the last leaf falls leaving nothing behind.

"Park Jimin"
