From allies to now enemies and enemies to now allies, then back to enemies. Kasen has uncovered the true intentions of many of Legions former operatives. Melony who was factioned in the medical field desired after Kasen's aura. Omar, the new Lord Commander is after corrupted weapons for who knows what purpose, and Ashli his long time friend and romantic interest seeks ultimate power. Finally he hopes to confront her and explain betrayal that nearly killed him. Time was running out for him and inevitably the entire world.

What waited for him upon returning to HQ of The Defenders of Humanities in the Grand Capital Beigha was an unexpected friend surprising him with a bear hug.

"Ki-ka! Can't. Breathe." Kasen struggled.

"Did you miss me? I missed you." She joyously continuing squeezing him.

Watching enviously were Erin and Kika's new friends Harms.

"Hey! that's my future husband girly." Erin yelled. Kika releases Kasen who inhales deeply.

"Future husband? Does your present husband know?"

Erin can't think of how to reply to that.

"Kika. Why are you here?" Kasen gasped.

"Well I was gonna do something, but forgot what is was. Then I remembered, but forgot again. So I wondered what you were doing."

"She smelled traces of your scent and found our hideout" Reid said.

"She can trace scents that are weeks old, Reggie commented. "Should come in handy for finding your other friend, we'll explain the situation."

The group gathers in a conference room. Hanna and apparition soldiers were waiting.

"No need to be alarmed child," she said at Kasen's surprised look. "Remember our factions are allies and we've agreed to combine our forces against the enemy."

"You said you knew where Ashli is." Kasen said to Reggie. Reid shows a recent video of her in the meadows of Beigha seen going through a sinister dark cloud.

"Get back here." Kika yelled. She punches a hole through Reid's high tech computer. Everyone looks in astonishment.

"Where'd she go?" Kika wondered, unconcerned that she destroyed Reid's most valuable possession.

Noel shook his head in disappointment.

"My computer! Why would you do this?!" Reid clutched it as if holding an infant.

"Not my fault you have breakable things? Thats irresponsible." Kika replied. Reid can only sob harder.

"That dark cloud, I've seen a similar one near the city Palmer." Kasen replied.

"Yes, but this one's is far deadlier," Hanna answered. "None of our troops can go near it without falling prey to corruption, but we know heavy activity is coming from within."

"A feral was kind enough to 'explain' that the negative energy given off by harbors, and entities gathers in that area." Erin said.

"And this is where The Disciples plan on building the Chaos Gate, if they succeed, this world's doomed." Hanna said.

"Kasen. Your aura protects you from negative energies, and your friends 'personality' has a similar effect." Reggie replies. "I know its much to ask but the Defenders of Humanity request your aid us stopping them."

"The United Apparitions require your aid as well," Hanna added. "You may be our only chance to destroy this evil once and for all."

"Whadda say Kika? Wanna save the world," Kasen asked.
