Today is Wednesday and I have nothing to do. I went back to my house later that night and fell asleep as soon as I laid down in my bed. I didn't dream of anything that night. Mom use to say when you didn't dream you had a good night sleep and the next day would be lucky.
I woke up and I was wide awake. It was 10:27, I got up and put in my fuzzy zebra slippers and my pink robe. I walked down stairs and Alyssa was down there sitting at the table making her party invitations for her birthday party on Saturday.
"Morning sleepy head." Alyssa said turning around.
"Morning. Your birthday is tomorrow." I said.
"Yea, I'm excited!!" She sang.
I nodded and went into the kitchen. There was a note on the pantry door:
"Y/N or Alyssa. I went to the store to get some stuff, go to a friends house for a while and then get you guys some food. See you two soon."
Dad kept Alyssa home from school to get party stuff together and set up. I went back up into my room and got my phone. I had 4 texts.

Hey babe. I just realized we haven't had our first real date. Kyle's party doesn't count because we weren't alone, eating dinner, and having a good time. So, how about tonight just me and you have our first real date. I've already planned it and got everything ready for tonight. I love you and I want this to be perfect.
I was so happy reading that text from him.
