Everything was a blur.

From running through the hospital entrance doors to screaming at the receptionist where Amethyst was and slamming my fists against the counter and tears falling down my face.

I sat outside her hospital room. My eyes were swollen and red from all my crying. I held my head in my hands, in despair. She was in there, barely making it, trying to cling onto what's left of her life.

I wish I never let her go. I wish she was wrapped in my arms and smiling and happy with everything. I wish we never gave up on us.

I didn't want Tana. I never did. She was the one I would go to when I desperately craved attention and affection from anyone. But I missed Amethyst's affection. The way she would hug me and wrap her arms around my neck and smile or laugh. Tana was a distraction from all that. So I could forget about what I truly desired.

Tears start streaming from my eyes again. A nurse walks down the hall, frowning towards me before slipping into Amethyst's room and locking the door. I can hear the conversation between her and the doctor inside the room.

"You have to tell him." The doctors voice.

"I can't. Not until, we know for sure. Look at him, he's so broken." The nurse's voice.

I slide down against the door. Suddenly my sadness turns into rage. I throw my fist against the wall, screaming.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN? WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH HER? I KNOW IM BROKEN JUST TELL ME WHATS HAPPENING!" I scream through the door, hoping the nurse and Doctor heard, realizing how much rage I held.

-2 hours later-

The nurse and Doctor stayed in there for a good amount of time, while I stayed put outside the room. I sat impatiently, still filled with sadness and anger. I'm really close to falling asleep when I hear an alarm go off and a bunch of beeping sounds and footsteps racing down the hall into Amethyst's room pushing past me into the room. I'm instantly awakened, and rush into the room along with them until one notices and pushes me back out. I push against him, screaming. "What's happening!!? Someone answer me please! I have to know!" My face is red and tear stained as I'm pushed out of the room, the rushing of doctors and alarm sounds continuing on.

I hear screams coming from doctors ordering around nurses and other doctors. After 7 minutes of chaos, a nurse closes the door quietly behind her, kneeling down to look me directly in the eye. I can tell she's on the verge of tears. Her eyes are shining and her voice is cracking as she speaks,

"Time to say goodbye."

Btw, the last line was the nurse speaking && this book is almost at its end :( but luckily I'm in the process of starting a new book so woo! It'll be a c.d. fanfic so get ready ;))
