Matthews p.o.v

Out of Tyler and Owen, Owen has always been the shy and most unsocial one. He got embarrassed easily too. Owen would never want to be touched by Tyler when I was in the room. I didn't mind because what they were doing was none of my business anyway, but he was also the one parent who spoiled me the most as a baby... Well, that's why Tyler said. Apparently, every time I would cry at night for the first couple months when I came home, Owen would be up and rocking me back to sleep, he never complained like you see in the movies. Tyler said he had a "heart of steel", and not even him being tired would stop him from getting up and out of bed.

I had always seen Owen as having more of the female role in the relationship: his hair was medium length, just covering his eyebrows giving him bangs, his ears were covered, and his hair went down to just the nape of his neck. He was a good head shorter than Tyler, he also stayed at home while Tyler worked. While Owen had that cute baby face, Tyler was more masculine looking, his hair was short and styled in a messy, 'bed head' look, with the more muscular frame.

The two fit together so perfectly it made me jealous. I wanted someone to hold the way Tyler does Owen. I want someone to run their fingers through my hair while I sit between their legs. I want somebody to look at me so lovingly, and as much as I wanted that one person to be Jeremy, I know it will never happen.

"This is just delicious!" Jeremy moaned, causing Owen to go red in the face and me to stiffen in my seat, "You are such a good cook." He moaned again shoving some more pasta into his mouth. Oh gosh.

"Thanks!" Owen squeaked out, taking a bite of his own pasta.

Chuckling, Tyler wrapped an arm around his shoulder giving him a kiss on the cheek before pulling away. "So how was school today boys?" He looked between the both of us.

I nodded my head shrugging, "Good, nothing really happened."

"Except you failing foods." Jeremy mumbled, making me hiss at him.

Tyler raised an eyebrow, seeming to pick up what Jeremy said. "What?"

I turned my head to glare at Jeremy, pinching his neck, "Nothing." Jeremy squealed. "It was actually really good, are you guys coming to my soccer game?"

Owen nodded smiling but it was Tyler who replied, "When is it?"

"Saturday." Jeremy said, eating the last of the noodles on his plate.

"Probably." Owen chuckled, putting some more pasta on his plate.

~

"Mmph." I grunted swinging my leg over a couple of pillows, or legs.

"What the fuck, Matt." My legs were shoved down and I toppled off the bed at the sudden movement.

"Matthew!" Tyler's voice travelled up the stairs and he shoved the door open into my room, raising an eyebrow at my dishevelled state on the floor, Owen appeared behind him with a worried look on his face. "Um..." He cleared his throat, "You guys looked like you were having fun." He commented, causing Owen to blush, and giggle, and me to just scowl. Really, did he have to say that?

I looked at Jeremy only to see him smirk, "You know it Mr. Williams. I hope he wasn't too loud." He looked down at me licking his lips. He was doing it again! His tongue poked out just long enough to swipe his bottom lip, then one of his blue eyes winking at me.

Blinking suddenly, I rolled on my back facing Tyler, "No! We didn't do anything!" I clawed at his legs seeing a weird look on his face before heaving myself at Owen. "Nothing! He's lying!" I wailed pathetically as Tyler picked Owen away from me, turned around and walked away.

Jeremy started laughing, throwing himself back on my bed, his naked chest rising and lowering. His abs flexing every time he breathed, making my groin tingle.

"Shut up." I grunted, standing up myself and throwing a pillow on his face.

"You want it!" I do.

I rolled my eyes before walking out of my bedroom and to the bathroom.

By the time I was finished with my cold shower, Jeremy had gone to his house.

"Morning!" I yelled as I walked down the stairs fully dressed in a blue plaid button up and a pair of black straight legged jeans. "Oh..." I paused as when I took a step into the kitchen, squinting my eyes awkwardly at the scene in front of me. "Ill just take this." I grabbed a lunch on the cupboard, "And go..." I mumbled, before twirling back around and walking out the door to see Jeremy already leaning against his side of the fence.

"So after school I have an hour for training for our game, then me and the guys are going to get something to eat after." I nodded my head, "Are you coming or not?"

I shrugged, "Am I allowed?" I had this whole thing where I didn't like going places with Jeremy and his friends, because none of them would ever talk to me... And I would just be sitting there like the fifteenth wheeler I am.

"Of course you are! You're like my other half!" He thumped my back twice, hard. "Sorry." He apologized after seeing me wince.

I shrugged as my response. We kept walking until we reached the school and as we arrived, we had a good half an hour to forty-five minutes before school officially started, so Jeremy went to go see Patty and I sat beside my locker reading a book that Owen loaned to me. I don't necessarily like reading though, but I had to admit this was a very interesting one. Deafening Creatures, was the title, and it was about an angel who devoured souls for a living, but one escaped.

"Hey." When I heard a bad bring dropped down my head snapped in the direction.

"Oh, Braeden, hey." I smiled, he was in the kitchens group next to mine.

He nodded his head, dropping next to me, his dark black hair resting just over his eyes, it was thick and coarse. But no doubt he had nice sharp facial features, light brown eyes with a fare skin tone. I never understood why everyone thought he was weird, he looked totally normal plus, everybody stares.

He pursed his lips, "Am I... Not allowed to sit here?"

"What?" My eyebrows knitted together, what?

"Oh, nothing." He smiled, suddenly perking up. "What are you reading?" Braeden poked the book I forgot I had in my lap.

"Deafening Creatures." I placed the bookmark in and handed it over to him.

"They have this at the school library I think." He mumbled, turning the book to its back to read the summary. "Sounds good." He nodded, handing it back. It stayed awkwardly silent before he started speaking again, "Sooo, hows foods? I noticed the teacher pulled you into his office."

"I'm failing." I deadpanned with a shrug, I wasn't so worried about him knowing.

"So you got the whole video recording?" I replied with a nod. "Do you have a partner already?"

I squinted my eyes in suspicion, noticing how his thumbs twiddled with one another, but I didn't say anything. 'The kid that's stares at you all the time.' Tyson comment replayed in my head. I just couldn't bring myself to believe all those things he said about him though.

"Nope." I popped my lips, "Woah, wait! I mean I do!" I corrected myself.

A sad smile spread across his lips, "I understand if you didn't want me to." He pushed himself to get up, an annoyed look slipping on his face.

"What?" I reached out and grabbed his wrist, pulling myself up also, "I didn't mean it like that! I mean I already asked Jeremy, I just wasn't thinking clearly for a second." I put one of my signature pouts on my face when I noticed my book was sprawled out on the floor, my page lost.

"Im sorry. I didn't mean to over react." A small blush crept up his neck to his ears that were barely poking out from beneath his hair.

"Good. So, see you later?" I smiled. Braeden nodded, smiling as well.

"Foods?"

I smirked, "Yep." Bending over I picked up my book, unlocked my locker and got my next two blocks books.

~

"Nice of you to join us Mr Goode." Jeremy nodded and smirked before coming to sit near me. Half an hour later and he finally shows up to class, I frowned as I saw his... Over peppy state, which means one thing: him and Patty went somewhere in the school and did a little something, something in the school. And I couldn't help but let those thoughts bring me down.

"Hey." He breathed, pulling off his bag letting it fall to the floor carelessly and taking out a notebook and pen.

"Yo'," I mumbled, scribbling something else the teacher had wrote on the board onto a piece of paper. Not in the mood to talk to him.

"Good day." He smirked, tilting his head to look at the board, and that's when I saw it. He had a really big hickey, or two, near the collar of his shirt.

My heart clenched at the sight, and a frown worked its way onto my face. I personally didn't get how he could do that. Just show them off, I mean it just doesn't look good on him. He is so careless and stupid sometimes. But I guess one good thing came out of this, at least he would be on time for lunch.

~

After the two uneventful and displeasing classes, it was finally lunch. I had my homemade lunch in one arm ready to go to the cafe and take a sneak peak at the lunch Owen had packed me. I over heard Tyler and Owen talking about him heating up the over lasagne for me lunch tomorrow.

As I walked through the doors I kept my head held high, until I didn't see Jeremy there. Call me clingy, or whatever you please, I don't care. I jutted my bag up higher on my back. I didn't feel like sitting with a table of a whole bunch of people I didn't know just so I could be annoyed. I turned on my heels and walked back down the hall to my locker and sat in front of it again, pulling open the brown bag hard enough that it ripped down the side. but I didn't care.

My head snapped up when I heard my name being called, "Matt! Matt!"

"Oh hey." I mumbled sheepishly as I noticed it was Braeden I was eating like a pig in front of.

"Your mouth full?" He bent one leg, placing a hand on his hip. I shrugged, swallowing. "So... Why aren't you in the cafe." I shrugged again moving my bag out of the way to allow him to sit.

"Not interested."

He nodded, pulling out an apple from his bag and biting into it, "Jeremy wasn't there?"

"How'd you..."

"Im not a creep, everybody in this school knows you two are friends, plus a good half of that knows what janitors closet he likes to be in." He added, making me frown.

"I guess he's..." I paused trying to find the right word, slutty? No because he doesnt go into the 'closet' with other girls, only Patty, sadly. He wasn't a whore either. Maybe he is just... Stressed.

"Very sexual?"

I chuckled, shrugging in agreement no matter how tough it was to talk about Jeremy fooling around with another girl is. "I guess you could say that."

The rest of the lunch we sat together was peaceful and quiet. We talked a decent amount of time about the things we like, or dislike and we had a lot in common actually. More than I would have thought. When the final bell for lunch rung we said our good-byes and I watched as he walked away, wishing it was him I had feelings for instead of Jeremy.

"Where were you!" Speak of the devil. Jeremy punched my shoulder when he was in a reasonable distance.

Shrugging, I opened my locker to roughly shove my lunch container in my bag, and grab my next classes books. "Eating."

"With who? I didn't see you for the whole lunch!"

"Maybe getting to the table before there is only five minutes left of lunch would work." I muttered, brushing past him, annoyed, angry. How could he say that. Where was I for the whole lunch? Where was he?

"Hey!" Jeremy started to walk in front of me backwards. "I do too!"

"When?"

"At like..." He paused scratching the back of his neck. "In ten minutes I'm usually there!" Lies. And he knew it too and it bothered me to know he would lie to me.

"And in those 'ten' minutes I'm alone! Nobody at the table likes me!"

"How do you know that?" He rolled his eyes, sitting in the desk beside mine when we got into the classroom.

"Because I'm not dumb, the only time they talk to me is when you are there, and you don't even talk to me then!" I couldn't help the blush that crept up my neck and covered my cheeks, my voice had went so high and I sounded like a clingy girlfriend.

"I do too!" He dramatically gasped.

"No, you are two busy sucking off Pattys lips." I said calmly, quieting down and flipping open my binder to the homework that was assigned.

Jeremy eyed it for a second, probably thinking back to yesterday trying to remember if the teacher even assigned us homework, which he did. "But she is hot, and my girlfriend!" He pouted, opening his binder too, but his attention was fully on me. Ouch.

"Then maybe you should just let me eat lunch where ever I please, and you can then have lunch with her. Because after all she is your girlfriend." I glared, shutting my binder forcefully, collecting my items and moving to a single empty desk in front of the teachers desk.

"Wow, really Matt?" Jeremy said, "Your not going to sit with me." I ignored him reviewing my homework. "I know you can hear me. Matthew! Look at me, please don't be mad. Matt, you know I'll just come to your house and bug the hell right out of y-"

"Jeremy, please be quiet, class is now starting." The plump teacher walked into the room, shutting the door behind him and walking over to his desk, logging in on the computer.

~

"So what are you doing after school?" Braeden gently pushed his shoulder into mine, just like Jeremy does.

"Um..." I took the pen out of my mouth, "Probably going to watch Jeremys practice." I shrugged.

And yes, I was going to watch it, Jeremy apologized and promised to spend so me more time with me too on school grounds. It made me feel slightly better when he said that. Right after class it was him apologizing and I did too, right after he did though. We even agreed on going to go and catch a movie after, then maybe a snack, only him and I.

"Oh, well..."

I looked up from the sheet on kitchen safety the teacher was having us review. "Why?"

"Uh..." His face went a soft pink, "I don't know," He coughed, clearing his throat. "Just wanted to... You know, hang out maybe get some food? But, maybe tomorrow or whenever you are not busy!" He shoved something in my hands, "Bye." As soon as he said that the bell had rung and the whole class emptied and swarmed into the halls.

I took my time getting my bag ready before going to our back field to see the practice game was already started against our neighbours, a really preppy Christian school. I walked passed the chain fence and then to our teams bench quickly, searching for Jeremys jersey number, which was number 12.

He was in the middle of stealing the ball from the opposing teams player, then kicking it down the field to one of his own team mates, guarding Jeremy was Tyson so the one mate could take a goal and score, which is what they did.

The one player from Bennet, that kept on letting the ball slip was Devyn and then he would make contact, which allowed the other team to get penalty shots, and score on us.

"What the hell are you doing, Devyn!" I cried out angrily, the coach pipped in with his own set of curses before shaking his head. "Run up! Jeremy advance!" I yelled, pointing at the one boy. Jeremys eyes narrowed and searched the field before he nodded and took off in the direction of the opposing teams member, taking a ball to the shin before being able to carry it back down to the other side of the field, and scoring a goal. "Yah!" The coach and I cheered, gaining weird looks from the other coach.

It went back and forth for a while before our team scored the last and final goal, the coach congratulated them and sent them to the change rooms for them to shower and get ready to leave.

"Ill be out in a second." Jeremy told me, sweat dripping down the sides of his face, his shirt sticking to his body sexily. Grabbing his gym bag and walking in.

I winced, I've always hated the locker rooms. I had made the mistake of going in there with Jeremy once, and I will never again make that mistake. It was just really uncomfortable, I felt like everybody was staring at me, even though they probably weren't.

I didn't like seeing what I didn't have either, you know, the nice rippling abs. I was born with a boring flat stomach. But Jeremy, I wouldn't mind staring at him all day, everyday.

"What are you waiting here for?" A group of four guys walked up to me, crossing their arms over their chests, a couple resting on one leg. Each one of their hair was wet and up in wild directions. The one in the front handing a water bottle to the one on his left.

"My friend is changing." I replied simply.

A smirk appeared on ones face, "To much of a fag to go in there?" He laughed, causing me to roll my eyes. Tyler and Owen had told me to not let people bug me with stuff like this. They don't know me. "Because we all know how all you public kids are."

Sighing I shook my head, "No, but are you too much of an ass to learn how to play soccer? Tell your captain his drills are shit, just like most of your players." I glared, bumping my shoulder into his as I passed him and went to the parking lot, running a hand through my hair.

"Yo! Matt, whats up?" Jeremy slung his arm around my shoulder, I calmed down partially, "I saw you walk away, thought you were leaving me for a second." He laughed, making me look at him as he tilted his head back. Jeremy's adams apple bobbing up and down.

"Nothing, just some dicks." I scratched the back of my neck, falling more into Jeremys side, I could get used to this.

"What did they say?" Jeremy stopped walking. But I wasn't about to tell him that they called me a fag, because he would do something about it, probably something violent. He let out a groan, "Fine, don't tell me about it." I threw his arm over my shoulder again and started walking in the direction of our houses.

"Aren't we supposed to go eat lunch with they guys?"

"Nope, Well just do a movie night I guess." He pulled out his phone texting with one hand. It was Patty.

"Do you even want to hang out with me?" I couldn't help but frown.

Jeremy nodded, eyes still trained on his phone, he was squinting a bit, his tongue sticking out the side of his mouth as he tried to concentrate on typing with his non-dominate hand.

"Ugh," I rolled my eyes, pulling away from him, he opened his mouth to protest, but I just shook my head, "Go hang out with Patty. Ill see you tomorrow." I gripped the handles of my bag and ran away from Jeremy all the way to my house which was thankfully empty.

Tyler and Owen left a note that they would be back in an hour or so with a late night snack for me.

Sighing thankfully, I locked the door before running to my room, shutting my blinds as I waiting a couple minutes peaking out them. My heart breaking each minutes that passed. He didn't go home, he went out with Patty.
