Okay, because I'm lazy and bored with the copy button, this is my last update thing for the night. I'll be on early tomorrow before school and probably add a part or two, and then come back after play rehersals. If I remember. I'm still kinda confused about the site and stuff, but I promise to try and get the hang of it soon. Then again, I'm still using Word 2003 because I can't work the new ones....

I checked my watch again. 2:50. I needed to get going. We were meeting outside the bar called Under the Rainbow.

How the hell do I know it’s her? I don’t know what she looks like. This is so stupid. I’m not going to keep dating her, why should I start?

“Hi, are you Sam? Ryan told me to meet her here.” She was cute. Not a dyke like me, a bit more girly almost. She had light brown hair that went a little below her shoulders and she was wearing a dark blue shirt with a pair of blue jeans.

“Yeah, I’m Sam. You’re Kara right?” I asked with a small smile. Act like you’re having loads of fun and stuff.

“Yeah. I’m new here, obviously. Just came out to everyone. I here you’ve been here a while?”

“’Bout seven years now. Since I was 10. Part of the reason I’m on The Council is because I’ve been here for so long. I know how things work and stuff. Would you like the grand tour?” I asked, holding out my hand for her.

“Of course.” She said with a smile as she took my hand.

We walked around town holding hands and talking. Random things mostly. I told her about Gay Forest and where the best places to hang out at. Everything I was supposed to do. At 5:00 I took her to dinner. We split the tab because it’s the first date. That’s what you do. Or, at least what I do.

“Where are you staying? I’ll drop you off.” I said as we wandered around.

She looked over at me and pointed one of the large buildings on the other side of me. “That one.”

We strolled over to the building and up the few stairs in front of it. I held the door open for her and she stepped through.

“Goodbye. It was great meeting you Kara. Unfortunately, I’ve got to go back home and work on some stuff for the next Council meeting.” I said, trying to avoid all contact.

She nodded. “Alright. Have fun. Talk to you later then.” She started walking up the stairs within the building and I closed the door and walked back home.

When I reached my floor I walked to James and Ryan’s place and knocked on the door.

            No answer.

I knocked again, a little louder this time.

            No answer.

I flipped through my keys and pulled out the one to their apartment and opened the door. “Hey! Where the hell are you guys!?”

            Nothing.

I sighed and walked into my room. There was a yellow note card on the nightstand. I walked over it to and picked it up.

Hey, me and Ryan are heading out for a night in Straight City! Don’t worry, we’re taking a Bear. We know how you worry about us like that. Hope you had fun on your date! We want all the details when we get back.
