Skye is a relatable character. Over the course of this book, she will laugh, cry, feel worthless, feel loved, feel hated, worry, be confused, pretty much feel all of the emotions a middle school girl can feel. After her parents died, she hasn't had much to find comfort in. Shifting schools every few months, it's hard to have a stable friend group, or anything stable. She feels what many of us feel: life crumbling to the ground around us.
As she walks blindly into new schools with new people, she experiences an outrage that centers around a religious newspaper and has to figure out who holds the truth, and where she should put her trust. This book is written mainly for middle schoolers, but can relate to any age. Like I said, the character of Skye is relatable.
I love writing, and it's easy to write about a passion, so this is about my biggest passion: God. Whether you believe in God or not, I still hope you enjoy He is God.
