Matchmaking Move

Pacifica's POV

As I was playing around with the cash register, I saw two figures walking toward me. I looked up; it was Dipper and Mabel.

"Hai 'cifica!" Mabel chirped.

"'cifica?" I asked.

"Yup that's my new nickname for ya!"

"Ok then, what are you two here for?" I said while walking around the counter to get closer to them.

"We were wondering if we could get jobs here. Or more like, Dipper wants a job. I'm here to support him!"

Oh no.

This was one of  "Mabel's matchmaking moves."

Dipper's POV

"...Dipper wants a job, I'm just here to support him!" Mabel half-yelled.

I turned away to hide my face, but before I did that, I saw Pacifica tense.

"Well you need to ask Wendy about the employee stuff." Pacifica said.

Her mood changed from bored to nervous really quick. She must have sensed Mabel's matchmaking move.

"Ok then. Where is Wendy?" Mabel asked.

"Outside somewhere. Maybe with her friends..."

"Is Soos busy? Can I talked to him?" I said as I turned back around.

"Maybe," said Pacifica, "his office is where Stan's room used to be."

"Ok thanks." I left the room, looking as red as a tomato.

When I was already at Soos's door, I realized Mabel wasn't with me.

Mabel's POV

As soon as Dipper was out of hearing range Pacifica said,"I don't need any of your matchmaking help. I'm fine."

"Reallllly? I don't see any progress going on."

"Mabel. I have other things to deal with. Why don't you and Dipper like go out and explore like you usually do. You even called yourselves the Mystery Twins."

"Hmm. But there is nothing for us to explore anymore with everything all normal. It's so boringggggg, so we need a jobbbbbb," I stomped my foot for dramatic effect.

I heard the ring of the bell (a/n anyone get the otgw reference?) when the door opened. OO a customer!

Wait never mind it's just Wendy and her friends.

"Hey Mabel. Where's Dipper?" Wendy said as Tambry, Robbie, Lee, Nate, and Thompson walked in and high fived me.

"He's talking to Soos," I said.

"Nice to see you again, dude," Nate said.

"How's high school?" Before we left Wendy told me it was a nightmare.

"It's actually not as bad as we thought." Thompson spoke up.

Dipper's POV

I knocked on the door. Should I be wearing interview clothes for this? Or am I just asking? Ahh what if I-

"Oh hey Dipper," Soos said as he opened the door.

"Can I have a job?" The words flew out of my mouth before I knew I said it.

"Oh yeah sure dude. You can make a bunch of new attractions for us right?"

"Uh...yeah! I have tons of great ideas."

"Then. Your hired!"
