His Stupid Birthday

Rain's P.O.V.

I want to get out of here. I am sitting in the cupboard under the stairs because Mr. Dursley was blaming Harry for a bag of missing chocolates that we both knew Dudley was the one who at them but Vernon would never think of his pore Innocent little boy to do such a thing and Dudley said it was Harry and well Vernon listen to his son no matter what. So to save Harry from the cupboard I said that it was my fault which ended me up in the cupboard but I didn't care because as long as Harry was ok i would be fine. Harry is my whole life, we think of each other as brother and sister even thought we aren't but we are the only real family we each have. Today was one of the worse days in the whole world, because it was Dudley's birthday. Me and Harry were woke up early to cook and make sure the house was perfect for the little brats Birthday, normally im not this mean but a few people can get under my skin and Dudley is the 3rd one along with both of his parents. I was pulled out of my thoughts hen the door opened and Mrs. Dursley Pulled me out and screeched " I want u back in that kitchen right no and u better be good or else i wont let u out of their tell next year. noe GO" i hate her voice so much but i listened to her because i really didn't want to stay in their for a week more less tell next year. I saw Harry was cooking and when he saw me he whispered " are u ok He threw u in their pretty hard" I started cooking and whispered back "ya im fine" after a few minutes Dudley came down from his room practically screaming "it's my birthday, it's my birthday, Yaaaa" i was going crazy, when he got into the kitchen he started counting his birthday presents while he was doing that i saw Uncle Vernon Rip up a piece of mail that Harry was saying was his and mine but he wasent going to hear one word that came out of either of our mouths so i didn't interject. "Thirty-Six" he frowned and looked at his parents and wined "That's 2 less that last year" His mom reminded him that he forgot to count his auntie Margie but he knew that was still only Thirty-Seven. I looked over at Harry to see that he also knew Dudley was going to start a tantrum by the way his face was becoming really red so me and Harry quickly ate our food, in case he flipped over the table like he has done many times. Aunt Petunia probably saw this to because she quickly said "and we will buy u two more while we are out today does that sound good two more." Dudley sat their trying to count how many that would be, it seemed like the hardest thing he has ever done "So that thirty...Thirty..." Aunt Petunia finished for him "Thirty-nine sweetheart." he nodded his head in a ok manner. Aunt Petunia picked up the phone when it started ringing but the call was short and ended fast. When she got off the phone she said "Mrs. Figgs has a broken leg so she cant watch that brat today." While she called harry a brat she sent a glare over to hum. They were trying to figure out what to do with us when Dudley said "I don't...don't want him... t...to come... he......h...he.....ruins..everything." know i know ur wondering why he didn't mention me, well he had a crush on me so i would be dragged with him anyway but for Harry he never gets to do anything. I hate how Dudley has a crush on me it makes me sick but he acts as if im all his, that's the only reason i haven't been kicked onto the streets since i am not really related to them but they would never hurt their poor Dudley. She got interrupted by the door bell ringing it was his stupid little friend Piers who had a crush on me to, i hatted them both thought. He came running in and both the boys started to ramble on about stupid little things i didn't pay much attention to them i only looked at Harry. After all his present were opened they decided that the only thing to do as bring Harry along although they hatted it. Me and Harry sat all the way in the back, Dudley and Piers sat in the middle while our stupid aunt and uncle sat in the front talking about.....about....actually i don't give a dam they are stupid idiots who cares what they talk about. When we got to the zoo they got ice cream for Dudley and they had to give Harry some to which made him happy. After a while we got to the reptilian section Dudley started to scream "Daddy make it move make it MOVE" he was making marks on the snakes glass with his figure nails. Which created an annoying sound "move u dumb snake move come on" Uncle Vernon tried but the snake just sat their like it was asleep. Dudley got board and went onto the next animal but me and Harry went to the snake and it said "hello" I was shocked but Said "Hello" and Harry asked "how are u doing" it seemed normal with us talking to the snake when others would think its odd. The snake hissed back "Good" I was wondering something so i asked "Do u like living in here or do u miss ur home." The snake looked over at the sign that was next to his habitat and Harry read out loud quietly "Bred in captivity." he then looked at the snake and said "im sorry" All of a sudden Dudley came running over knocking both of us onto our buts but Harry made sure i landed on him so i was sitting on his legs. He never wanted me to get hurt so even for something small like this he made sure i was ok and not hurt at all. "Daddy, mommy come look at this." But before they got over here He fell into the habitat. The snake slithered out and said "thank u" before leaving. People were screaming, yelling, and running everywhere. But the most interesting thing as Dudley, he was stuck in the habitat and the glass was back. His parents we trying to get him out bud uncle Vernon looked over at Harry and me because Harry let out a little laugh which made me hit him in the arm a little bit although i was laughing on the inside. We knew we were going to be in a lot of trouble.
