pretty and perfect

Chapter 4

"YES YES YES!!!!" I had just answered Jordan's question with a big fat yes. I was of course the first ever time I had actually had anyone ask me out but I wasn't going to tell him that. We held hands the rest of the way round the school until the bell went for us to go home.

"which way do you go home?" He asked me in the most adorable way possible

"That way with Vanessa" I answered most politely

"Oh well I'll see you tomorrow then."

He kissed me on the cheek and walking away the opposite way to me and V. I started blushing and that is when Vanessa started asking questions.

"So what really went on with you and Jordan?"

"I told you, we walked round school. That's all"

"Well that didn't look like all to me"

Vanessa was starting to get a bit angry now and that's when I new enough was enough. I had to tell her.

"Fine he asked me a question"

"???"

"He asked me to the prom next week"

Vanessa's mouth stayed open for about two minutes. I new she was excited for me from the look on her face.

"OMG Gabby your luck has turned around since the weekend!"

"Ye I know"

We carried on walking Vanessa still thinking about how this all happened. We seriously didn't know but I  was scared for whatever consequences I might face just before the prom.

The next day was the same. I got out of bed and went to school but when I got there Jordan Vanessa and all my other friends where no where to be seen. I looked for ages until I found them sitting together in a science room.

"Why are you guys in here?"

"Its your favourite room in the school isn't it?"

Vanessa new me well and was showing Jordan all of my school projects from all the years I have been here. Suddenly from underneath one of the pictures I took with one yesterday I saw it. An old picture of when I was ugly and an outcast.

"NO! Don't show him that!"

"Show me what?"

Jordan pulled out the picture of the old me and held it up to the light.

"Who is this?"

"its..."

"Me!" Vanessa shouted cutting me off.

"That picture is of me before I became this."

I pulled Vanessa aside and started to pull her together.

"Don't do this V he needs to know the real me."

"But what if he doesn't like the real you?"

"Then that is a risk I'm going to have to take the isn't it"

We walked back to Jordan and the girls and I told Jordan everything about my past. He didn't look shocked at all. He looked comforting and understanding.

"I new that this picture wasn't V from the moment I saw the dimples under her eyes."

"You did?" Me and Vanessa spoke at the same time

Jordan laughed "Yes and its ok Gabby I'm not going to judge you I love you for you and that's that."

I started to blush again this time I was even pinker than ever.

"I love you two Jordan."

He kissed me again but this time on the lips. His lips was  as cold as ice but I didn't care I just enjoyed it.
