Team Fortress 2 (Our Story) Emmy's POV

The Backburner

   Emmy woke up to rustling and a bright light in her fathers room. She turned her head to see her father getting all of his weapons set out on his desk, back to Emmy. Emmy tilted her head to the side as she slipped out of bed and walked next to her father who seemed to tower over her. She tugged on his suit pants leg catching his attention. She saw as he leaned down with a happy muffle as he lifted her up and sat her on his bed without doing the usual cleaning for her morning routines. He took his mask off after shutting and locking the door so no one would intrude on them.

   He turned to his desk as he lifted up one of his many weapons and turning to Emmy as he began to explain to her all the wonders of his Flamethrower. Emmy was very exited to learn about the Flamethrower. After learning all about it, Emmy quickly grabbed a box of colorful crayons out of Pyro's purse. She grabbed a paper and drew a flame thrower with a dragon-looking head on it. She showed Pyro and he had an idea. There was a spare Flamethrower in his closet and he took it out. He asked Emmy if she could follow him to Engie's workshop. She grabbed his hand and he led her to it. Engineer walked out and noticed Pyro and Emmy. He asked if they needed something, and Pyro showed Engineer the Flamethrower and the picture. "Ya want me to make this for ya?" They both nodded. "Alright then."

   While Engineer was working on the new Flamethrower, Pyro was teaching Emmy how to use his. He showed her how to air blast and how to go after a spy. Emmy took the Flamethrower and did exactly what Pyro told her. She ran towards the wooden soldier and quickly ran behind it to set it on fire. Pyro was happy to see his daughter become like him. After the training, Pyro picked up Emmy and walked into the base. Pyro went to sit on the couch by Medic and Lily. They were tickling each other until Lily's stomach started to growl. Medic got up to get Lily something to eat and she was clinging to him. Not long after, Emmy's stomach started to growl too. Pyro rushed to get Emmy something to eat also. As Medic was looking through the fridge to find anything for Lily to eat, Pyro grabbed four sliced of bread and two pieces of cheese. He grabbed some butter and buttered the bread. He walked up to the stove and tossed the bread onto a pan. Medic looked over at Pyro to see what he was doing. Pyro took a pancake flipper and flipped the sandwich. After it was fully toasted, Pyro set the sandwich on a plate and started on the next one. When both sandwiches were done, he waited for them to cool off and then gave them to the girls. Medic was thinking why he never thought of that.

   Emmy and Lily were eating their delicious sandwiches while Engie walked into the room. He was going to tell Pyro that the Back Burner was finished. He decided to sit next to Pyro and watch Emmy eat her sandwich. After Emmy finished her sandwich, she snuggled close to Engie and Pyro. 

  Lily got up and started marching around the room while Emmy was close behind. They marched through the whole base and soon a few of the other mercs started to follow. They were marching until they went down the hallway to their rooms and everybody marched into their own room and went to sleep.
