After Puck enlists he gives his bike to Jake, Marley hates it and does everything she can to get him to stop riding it.

It had been a long, sleepness night for Jake. All he could think about was Puck leaving and enlisting. There was so many thought going through his head. Of course he was proud of him, I was going to go off and fight for the country, but from a family stand point, he was scared. Puck was his family and even thought they had only known each other for a short time, they were still a family. He wanted to talk to Marley, but it was the middle of the night and she was probably sleeping. He couldn't wait to see her tomorrow, she always made everything better for him.

It was the next day and it had been a few days since Puck had left. He had just gotten home from Puck and Sarah house. As he rode up on the bike, he saw Marley sitting on his porch. A smile spread across his face. Once he got to her, he picked her up and spun her around then gave her a hard kiss.

"What was that for?" She smiled

"I'm just really glad to see you. I had a really hard night last night and being with you just makes me better."

"Because of Puck"

Jake nodded and then pulled her back into a tight hug before pulling away again. "But I was just at his house and his mom gave me a few things that she said he wanted  me to have."

"Like what?" Marley still clueless about the bike.

"Well the biggest thing was his bike" He moved to her side to show her.

Marley mouth dropped. "Nope, no way, you are not keeping that thing"

"What?" He asked confused

"Jake that thing is dangerous. Do you know how many crashes involve these things."

"Look Marls, I know your trying to help but it's my bike and it's this is one of the few things I have of him and I don't care what you say but I'm keeping it and riding it."

"Well looks like you made your choice then" She pulled away and started walking away.

"Where are you going?"

"Leaving, I'm not going to sit around and watch you hurt yourself. So have fun with your precious bike."

Once she left, Jake wanted to run after her but he knew she was wrong about the bike. The whole fight of theirs made him want to go out for a ride and clear his head. So that's what he did. He figured he would ride around town for a little bit. He got on the bike and left and the whole time, all he could think about was Marley. That's how it always seemed to work, whenever they werent together, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He was brought back to reality when he throwen off his bike by a car and a tree. While Jake was going down the road, a car was coming straight towards him in his lane and so to avoid getting hit, he swearved and hit a big tree and went flying to the ground, hurting his back. His mother was called and he was taken to the hospital to be check out. He wished marley was with him, but apart of him didn't want her there, to worry and be all 'I told you so'. But he was sure his mom had already called her.

Marley got to the hospital as fast as she could. She wanted so badly to yell at him and tell him he was wrong but mostly wanted to know make sure he was okay. All she thought about while running to his room was that she wanted to hug him and kiss him and tell him that she loved him. When she got to his room and saw him laying in bed and their eyes met, tears started falling down her cheeks.

"Jake" She whimpered

"Marley" He help her tight to his body. He didn't want to let her go. "I'm so sorry, I should have listened to you, I was-"

Marley placed her finger in front of his lips. "Let's not talk about that right now, all I care about is you and that you're okay" She got on the bed and layed down next to him, curling up close to him. "I love you so much Jake and I just-" She couldn't continue because she was crying to hard.

Jake help her tight. He hated seeing her cry and it was worse because he caused it. He rubbed her back gently and kissed her head. "Baby don't cry please, it breaks my heart when you do."

"I'm sorry but I hate seeing you hurt and if I hadn't left you, I could of stopped you from getting on that bike."

"No Marley don't blame yourself. This was all my fault okay."She didn't respond."Baby I'm right here with you and I'm not going anywhere." He promised

"Okay" She sighed. "And if you really want to keept the bike, go ahead."

"I'm going to keep it, but I won't ride it.  You're way more important to me and I hate worrying you and my mom. Plus I have other things of Puck's, so I'm good."

"Deal" She smiled and kissed him softly."I love you"

Jake smiled into the kiss and pulled her closer, even though it wasn't possible. "I love you too."
