The book's back, people!!!

My POV
"Well that was rude..." I grumbled, looking around to see my friends were gone. Looks like it's just the three of us. "Mish..." I shrugged and started walking. All of a sudden, I heard someone yell, "Stop!" And footsteps coming towards me. "Meh?" I asked, looking towards the speaker, to see a rock with arms and a little boy behind it. Looking towards my pokedex, I said, "Shroomy, you take this one." "Shroom!" was the reply as the mushroom jumped off my head. "Geodude! Defense curl!" The boy commanded. At that, the rock curled up into a ball. "Shroomy, use absorb!" When he used it, the Geodude fainted. My pokedex suddenly made a sound. When I looked at it, I saw that Shroomy had learned Mega Drain. "Cool!" I yelled and ran in the way I was going first.
After another battle, I reached the gym leader, Roxanne. "Ah, I see you have made it to me," she said, "now time for me to show you what I learned in pokemon school!" Shroomy jumped off my head to see just the pokemon that we had previously defeat: a Geodude. I grinned, "Shroomy, Mega Drain!" "Mish!" Was the reply, as he used the commanded move. One hit, down. Roxanne nodded approvingly. "Not bad, not bad. But not good enough for Nosepass!" To follow the sentence, she threw a pokéball, releasing a big-nosed rock pokemon. "Nosepass! Hit it with a Rock throw!" That seemed to do quite a lot of damage. "Mega Drain!" I yelled, expecting to do a ton of damage. Sadly, it didn't go that way. It took down a third of its health. Roxanne smiled. "Again." The second barrage of rocks took down my Shroomish. "Chicky, it's your turn! Double kick!" That took down the nosy rock. (*slow clapping is heard*) Roxanne looked shocked for a second, but regained composure and walked up to me. "Well done, you have earned the balance badge," she said, handing me a small item, which I put in the pocket of my sweater. "Thank you," I said, putting out my hand, "good battle." She shook it. "Yes, good battle." Then I heard a door open and close. "That would be one of your friends, go through that door if you want to watch." I nodded and went through said door, up a flight of stairs, and into a room, with a bunch of couches, and a tv. "Hm. Looks nice," I said before I felt a familiar weight on my shoulders, sending me to the ground. Wow, Kody. You always fall from and for that. "Good job, Kody!" Lily said from my back. "Always," I grunted, "always you do that." She got off, helping me up. "That's just me!" She said and walked over to a couch, to watch Kelvin. I followed, of course. Our pokemon sat at our feet, watching closely. Kelvin was using a move called Iron tail, which he had taught Pikachu before the battle. Lily had done the same with Jerry. "Kody?" Lily said, looking at me. "Yeh?" I said, looking back. Her ice-blue eyes pierced into mine, making me feel slightly uncomfortable. "I..."
