Marks POV
Jack and I were in the backyard sitting in the grass, watching Chica run around and play.
"Hey, Mark?" "Yes?" Jack looked down, he was fidgeting with his arm bands. Meanwhile, I noticed Chica was missing from the yard. "Chica! Come here!" Next thing I knew, Chica came around the corner covered in dirt. "Oh Chica.. What did you do? Now I gotta give you a bath."
Jack's POV
I laughed. "Good luck. You know she hates baths," Mark looked at me. "That's why you're going to help me give her a bath. Go inside and get the doggy shampoo and I'll get the hose.
"Okay, Jack, hold her so she won't run away," I held on to her collar as he brought the hose over to get her wet. Chica started tensing up. When Mark started wetting her fur, she broke free from my hands and ran all the across the yard. "Jack, can you go get her leash?" I nodded and got it. He told me to tie the leash around the pole that holding up the overhang so Chica couldn't escape. We started washing her, which made the concrete super dirty. The soap was really bubbly, so it got all over us. When we rinsed her off, she shook and got us all wet. We both screamed. We dried her off and let her inside, drying ourselves off as well.
When Mark and I went inside, we changed our clothes because they were soap stained.
Marks POV
"Um, Mark? About what I was starting to say before we had to bathe Chica," Jack's face was getting a little red. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" His beautiful, bright blue eyes started to water and a tears streamed down his face. I was really worried at this point. "Mark, I can't help but feel that you don't actually like me the way I like you. I- I-" I stopped him. I put my hand under his chin and looked deep into his eyes. "Jack, please stop crying. It's okay. Jack, I love you," I then pressed my lips against his thin, bright pink lips.
Jack pulled away after a little bit. "Mark," I put my hand on his left arm. Then Jack pulled me into a tight hug. He whispered something in my ear, "I love you too,"
Jack's POV
"Mark, I have to go somewhere. I- I'll be back," "Wh- where you going?" I didn't answer him. I quickly went downstairs and walked to the bar that wasn't too far from our house, and drank. I was stressed. I drank so much, I drank until last call.
When the bar finally closed, I was left drunk, wandering the streets of Los Angeles. I ended up back at home. I tripped and threw myself against the front door. "Jack? What the hell are you doing and where did you go?" I muttered a few words that he couldn't understand. He stood me up and brought me inside and closed the front door. "Jack, how much did you drink?" Instead of saying garbled up sentences, I threw up all over Mark and passed out.
I woke up hours later in my bed, with Mark sitting a chair staring at me. "So, you wanna tell me about what happened last night. I really didn't want to tell him so I just tolled over and went back to sleep. Of course, I ended up telling him.
