So so so so sorry for such a long wait! I was crazy busy with school last week and this week. I’m hoping to stick with my update schedule (see my profile), but school always comes first. Sorry!

-----------------------

Breakfast was delicious. Mainly because it was Tyler who had made it and if I had said anything else, he would have started to tickle me again. And I didn’t want to take any chances. Luckily it wasn’t that bad. Tyler could really cook!

He stood there with his long shorts that barely cover his knees. His hair was combed to the side like always. He was wearing a black hoodie and his blue TOMS. We had turned on the radio and danced around the kitchen like maniacs. The others were still asleep as they had been up pretty late last night. Tyler and I had gone to bed early for no reason.

“If you wanna be my lover” Tyler sang, using his fork as a microphone. He was standing in the middle of the kitchen and making a fool of himself. I didn’t stop him, though.

“You gotta get with my friends!” he continued. I shook my head and laughed. He did a little dance before finishing it off with a hair flip and smiled at me. I applauded him.

“Thank you” he said, bowing down. He then threw himself at the closest chair and breathed heavy.

“Oh my god. I don’t think I have ever been that tired!” he said, gasping for air. I laughed at his worried face.

“Don’t you dare laugh at me! I would like seeing you trying to dance like that and be completely calm afterwards!” he exclaimed. I shrugged and got up from the chair, walking over to his “dancefloor”.

“What would you like me to do?” I asked. He thought about it for a second, then his eyes lit up and he opened his mouth. I knew what he was going to say before he even said it.

“Twerk for me, Sivan” he said seductively.

“You know I can’t do that!” I said, frowning.

“I don’t care! Just shake that butt of yours, please” he said. I lost it.

“What’s so funny?” he asked me. I collapsed on the floor, gasping for air in between my laughter. I couldn’t stop.

“J-just shake… that b-butt…” I tried to say, but it didn’t come out properly. “O-of yours!” I finished, causing me to laugh even more. Tyler rolled his eyes at me, but smiled.

“Hey guys! I could hear you from upstairs, what’s-“ Zoe came down the stairs, but stopped halfway as soon as she saw me crawling on the floor.

“What are you doing on the floor, Troye? And why are you up so early? Oh! You made pancakes? You know I love pancakes!” she said, walking straight over to the plate. She grabbed one with her hands and started eating it. I got up from the floor and leaned against the kitchen table.

“Eww, Zoe! Please, don’t use your hands!” Tyler exclaimed. I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest.

“Oh, sorry!” she put down the rest of the pancake and found a plate.

“So, what are you up to today?” she asked, eating her pancake, only now with a fork and knife.

I shrugged and looked at Tyler, waiting for him to say something.

“We haven’t planned anything yet, but I want to go to the beach!” he said. I nodded. I wanted to go to the beach as well. I mentioned it to Tyler last night, but I didn’t know if he remembered. Maybe that’s why he had said it. Or maybe he just wanted to go to the beach as well.

“I agree. The beach would be so nice! Oh, and I want to get a tan while I’m here” she said, finishing her plate of pancakes.

“Why doesn’t that surprise me?” I said, smiling at her. Tyler tried to hold in a laughter by covering his mouth with his hand. It didn’t work that well, though. Zoe crossed her arms over her chest and sent me a disappointed look.

We all turned around when someone came down the stairs.

“Good morning, guys. Have you got any plans for today?” Alfie entered the living room, sitting down next to Zoe.

“We were planning on going to the beach today. You in?” Zoe said, smiling slightly at Alfie. He smiled back.

“Are you going?” he said, looking right at Zoe. I raised my eyebrows. Didn’t Zoe say that we were going? Didn’t that mean Zoe was coming too? I swear, sometimes Alfie could be so blond. Or maybe Zoe just made him blonde.

“Yeah” Zoe nodded.

“Then I guess I’m going to the beach” he said, smiling down at Zoe again. They stared into each other’s eyes for a while before I felt the need to interrupt.

“I’m going upstairs to pack” I said, raising my eyebrows. Tyler nodded and stood up from the chair he had been sitting in.

“Me too” he said, before joining me upstairs.

“Aren’t you going to pack?” I said. I opened up the closet I had placed my clothes in and found my shorts. Tyler had followed me into my room and sat down on my bed.

“I’ll just pack later” he said, shrugging. He looked around my big room before his gaze landed on my bedside. Or more precisely; the picture of my family and I. My smile faded as I remembered how much I already missed them. I had only been here for a few days and I missed them already. Tyler picked up the framed photo and examined it closely before turning to face me again.

“Your family is perfect” he said, looking down at the picture again. I laughed slightly and leaned against the wall, crossing my arms over my chest.
