It was now the day that Evelyn was supposed to come down to LA.
Me and Joey headed down to the airport and waited for her. Then we see her.
Me: Joey, there she is, EVELYN!
Evelyn: omg hi
I run up to hug her but she passes me and hugs Joey. I just stand there and think for a minute to myself: " are Joey and Evelyn hiding something? "
Then Evelyn hugs me.
Evelyn: sorry.
Me: it's ok.
We hug.
Joey: so let's go get something to eat.
We went out to eat and when we got there, Evelyn and Joey were just talking to each other and not me. We finished eating.
Evelyn: hey! Let's go back to your place.
Joey: ok.
I didn't answer.
We get there and Evelyn puts her stuff in the guest room.
I see Mia,Hunter,Halee and Brandon. I introduced Evelyn to everyone. Joey kept looking at Evelyn.
I slap his arm.
Me: *whispers* stop!
Joey still kept looking at her.
*skips to 11:00 pm*
I wanted to get a gift for Joey to remember that I'm his. I bought him a hoodie and a pair of shoes and some candy. I wanted to surprise him so when I got there I tried to be quiet.
I go upstairs and into Joey's room and I see Evelyn and Joey making out and Joey grabbing her butt and Evelyn grabbing his hair and leaving hickeys on him.
Joey: l-let me explain.
Me: no Joey!
I throw the everything down.
Me: how could you. Both of you!
I run down stairs and run over to my best friend Blake's (Blake Grays)house.
Me and Blake have known each other sense 1st grade and he's always there for me.
I knock on the door.
Blake: hey Brooke! What are you doing here?
Me: j-Joey c-cheated on me.
Blake: come in.
Me: thank you Blake
I kiss his cheek and he smiles and blushes.
I laugh a little.
Me: thank you for being there for me.
Blake: I will always be.
He tried to help me get my mind off Joey and it was working, we watched movies, talked , and laughed a lot. We hear a knock on the door.
Blake: I'll get it.
It was Joey.
Joey: is Brooke here?
Blake: yeah, Why do u wanna talk to her? You hurt her Joey.
Joey: I know I did and I'm sorry.
Me: Joey, you really hurt me. I don't think I wanna be with you again, I can't be with someone who hurt me.
Joey: I'm sorry. I love you.
Me: no you're not and no you don't. You're not sorry and you don't love me. If you loved me you wouldn't have done that, go back with Evelyn and keep making out, bye Joey.
Joey: but broo-
Me: bye.
Joey: b-bye
A tear rolls down his face.
I go back to Blake and start crying in his chest and he hugs me.
Blake: listen Brooke, you're very pretty and smart and funny and amazing. You don't need Joey now, he hurt you.
Me: I know, but I've never ever lost someone I used to love a lot.
Blake: I understand but would you rather be with a person who is loyal and caring or a person who will cheat on you?
Me: a person who is loyal and caring.
Blake: then you don't need Joey.
Me: you're right. Thank you Blake
Blake: you're welcome.
He kisses my forehead.
Then, we hear another knock on the door.
It was Evelyn.
Me: what the fuck do you want.
Evelyn: look I'm sorry ok! Forgive me please!
Me: haha let me think.... Um, no! Bye backstabbing bitch.
I slam the door in her face and she starts crying and runs back to Joey's.
Me: um Blake?
Blake: yeah?
Me: can I move into your place? It's ok if not, I understand.
Blake: of course you can.
Me: really?! Thank you so much.
Blake: anything for you.
I smile.
Me: could you come with me and help get my stuff from Joey's?
Blake: yeah, c'mon.
We walk over to Joey's cause it's not that far.
I felt Blake hold my hand I look down at the ground and smile.
We walk into Joey's house and see him and Evelyn crying.
Joey: Brooke! Thank you for coming back.
Me: oh I'm not staying, I'm moving in with someone who cares about me, which is Blake
Joey: wtf?! I do care about you and I want you to stay.
Me: please don't talk to me and let me get my stuff.
Me and Blake run upstairs and pack all of my stuff away. I see the other half of of the necklace Joey gave me. I threw it on the ground and just left it. When me and Blake were done packing we headed out the door.
Me: bye Joey.
Joey:*sighs and a tear rolls down his face*bye Brooke.
Blakes mom was on her way home so Blake called her and asked if she could stop at Joey's. We waited for her to get there.
BlakesMom: hey what did both of you need?
Blake: well Joey kinda cheated on Brooke and broke her heart and she asked if she could move in with us so she didn't have to see Joey anymore and we need to put the boxes in the car.
BlakesMom: omg Brooke I'm so sorry to hear that, we're here whenever you need us, ok?
Me: thank you and ok
We hug.
Me: thank you again Blake I love you I mean-
Blake: you're welcome. And I love you too.
We both smile and hold hands.
