Amy's POV

Amy sat down at her dressing table, applying her makeup. Amy loves doing her makeup and she wears it the same way everyday. She is known by her friends to always be slaying winged eyeliner and MAC velvet teddy lipstick. Amy then stood in front of her wardrobe staring at all the clothes hanging up neatly as she sighed. She had no clue what she should wear on her date which is important as it could be the last chance to save their on and off relationship of 3 years.

"Ahhhhh! I have nothing to wear!" Amy shouted loudly in frustration. Amy's mum walked in to see her stressed out over something so little.

"Darling you have nothing to worry about you're gorgeous and you'll look good in anything" said Karen, Amy's mum. "Here what about this?" Karen continued as she reached for a khaki swing jumper dress. "Over the knee boots will look good with that too, kinda casual and it shows you've made an effort."

"Perfect, thank you mum!" Amy said as she quickly put on her clothes, sprayed Coco Chanel No.5 and grabbed her bag. "I'll be back later!"

Jack's POV

Jack wasn't really excited for this date and the gloomy weather did not help either. Jack couldn't help finding himself distancing himself away from Amy. However, he decided that if this date went well maybe he could change his mind. Amy was amazing but Jack felt his life was too busy for a girlfriend and there are too many things in his schedule that are exciting meaning that they wouldn't be able to see each other as much as they would like.

Jack looked up and saw Amy coming in through the restaurant door. He couldn't help but smile at her, the feelings coming to him all at once.

"Hi Jack" Amy said, sitting down on the chair opposite him.

"You alright Amy? You look nice!" Jack meant them words despite his effort to be low key.

"I'm good and thank you!"

They spent the next few hours, eating their favourite foods at the restaurant they used to always eat at. Amy always went for the pasta, and jack was way too exctied to get the steak every time. They caught up on everything they had been up to. Everything was going fine until Jack moved his hand up Amy's leg a little, she flinched as she looked down at his hand and shot up quickly.

"Thanks for dinner Jack, it was nice seeing you again. I have got to go now... I forgot... I forgot I had to help my mum with something! Bye!"

Jack looked up in confusion. He tried to grab her attention for her to stay with him; calling her name, but it was too late. Suddenly, she was out of sight.

Jack walked home alone. There was all these thoughts in his head about why Amy would ask to see him and then get up and storm off like that. He got out his iPhone and sent Amy a text. He thought it was about time they finally had closure.
