Chapter 3: Halfway there...Or maybe not...

Mission: Find the Mystical Orb

I was well on my way to the forest border of Bizaer, but it would be at least five hours before I got to the forest, and there were actual dangers here, one example being carnivorous dinosaurs. Fun. But you had the herbivores too, but they had the nice tendency to charge smaller predators like myself when we got to close, but that's not even the half of it, and this just happens to be one of the more dangerous fields in the Ghost Realm, but i think i can handle it.

I could already smell the familiar scents of the beautiful, but deadly flowers and other poisonous plants that littered the entirety of the field. Oh joy. The scents of the deadly fauna were getting stronger as I pushed on until, just from the scent, I could tell they were right in front of me.I sneezed a little, and turned away, not wanting to end up with rashes or worse from stepping on them. Sadly, the plants looked, or should I say, felt like the harmless grass that covered part of the field, to my "sight". So i guess i was going to have a field day with this one, puns aside. I took a turn to the right, noting that the scent wasn't as strong from this direction. As I continued on, doing my best to avoid the poisonous fauna, I heard it, THUMP, I recognized the sound, THUMP, the sound colossal dinosaurs that roamed the field.

I expanded my sight range, I needed to know whether it was a predator or herbivore, whether to run, or continue on, because I knew, with my disability, I could not take on something that big. After finding the dinosaur, i recognized, by its shape, that it was a predator, most likely a Giganotosaurus, it wasn't that far away either, it was maybe about 2500ft way from where I stood. Quickly, I retracted my sight range and turned around, hoping that it didn't see me, since my white fur stood out so much in the tall violet grass.

Time: 11:30

I had made it back to where I first encountered the poisonous foliage, and I could still hear the loud footsteps of the massive dinosaur i had seen. I kept going straight, passed the foliage and into another section of grass. After a few moments, I realized that the dinosaur could smell me, as it was downwind from me. I quickened my pace. The sound of the dinosaur's footsteps were getting louder and quicker, I heard its guttural roar from not far off, the sound reverberating through the ground into my bones. I quickened my pace even more, I could now feel the small earthquake its footsteps caused every time they crashed into the ground, in fact the ground shook a little too much. As i ran at a full pelt, I felt a sharp pain as a barb sunk into my paw. I really hoped that i hadn't just stepped on a rose, those things were revolting both in smell and appearance, and they were mildly venomous, and the effect of the toxin varied depending on the color of rose. Black having the mildest of effects and white having the most severe effects.

Pain shot through my paw with every step i took, i tried to keep my speed, but with every step i took, the pain spread throughout my paw. The dinosaur gave a monstrous roar behind me, my "Vision" seemed to waver at the sound. It swung its head downward, jaws open wide, ready to snap me in half. As i prepared to jump, my paw snagged on something, pain shot through my wrist as i tumbled to the ground, my head slamming into a rock. A wet substance was pooling slightly where my head had hit the rock, and my head was swimming. I felt the ground shake slightly, as if something had just impacted the ground near by. My "sight" was completely gone for the moment, making me completely blind. As i tried to stand up without falling, i heard a loud shuffling near by, It must be the the thing that was chasing me I thought foggily.

Suddenly, the ground shook violently, throwing me off my paws. I heard a loud cracking sound, and the ground gave away beneath me.
