Episode 2: The Cuckoo Clock of Doom

Would you like to turn back time sometimes? :) - If you've seen this episode you understand why I'm asking about that!  ^_~

Because exactly this happens in this episode. The main character here is a boy named Michael Webster. How about the monster?... - There aren't monsters in all Goosbumps episodes, there are some scary or 'different than usual working' objects in some of them. And such a 'strange working object' in this episode is the cuckoo clock - but strange things start to happen only after it gets broken. 

Michael has a little sister named Tara, but he doesn't like her because she isn't a nice and friendly little girl admiring her big brother ( you will see in a moment what an awful brat she is! - I wouldn't like such a sister either, & I think Nobody Would! ;) ). 

She acts against him all the time & plays stupid pranks on him, she is also very mean for no reason because her brother is a calm boy who doesn't understand why she treats him like that. He even asks her 'What's your problem, Tara? - What have I ever done to you?'. But the spoilt brat just laughs and sprinkles some ketchup on him instead of answering her brother's question. Moreover she plays a victim in front of their parents and after making him angry she just runs home, makes a sad face & tells her mother that He is the bad one! ( Girls are really good at playing victims! - I know some RL examples who behave this way too, but they are older than her! ). She pretends a 'scared innocent child' perfectly & tells her mother that 'Her brother won't leave her alone! XD - & who they always believe? - HER! :D ( Girls are good actresses! At any age! )

She also ruins his birthday party by ridiculing him in front of his friends! ( I wouldn't laugh if my friend fell down & landed on his own birthday cake! I'd rather ask him 'Are you ok?' - And they All Laugh! - What Kind of Friends Are They? ).

When Michael's & Tara's father gets a cuckoo clock, the rest of the family seems not to like it as much as he does. When he shows it to them & says that 'He's been wanting it for a long time' Michael says 'A Clock?' & his mother adds 'An Ugly clock!' XD ( you think it's ugly? - I don't think so, lol ;) ). But he tells them that it's a 'Magical Clock' - & later events prove that he was right! ;)

Tara seems interested in that clock but dad tells her that 'He doesn't want any of the kids to put a finger of this clock'. She says 'Yes, daddy' - but in the evening the father catches her touching the clock again so he tells her 'If anything gets broken in this clock - you will be in trouble'. 

Michael hears their conversation so he decides to break the clock, to put his little bratty sister in trouble because he knows that they would blame Her this time. He walks to the room where the clock stands at night & when the cuckoo comes out - he turns its head backwords. And then the magic starts & strange things happen. Let's watch it together: 

Oops, seems that he accidentally 'got rid of his bratty sister' by removing the year of her birth from the clock... - Oh well, their parents won't miss her, cause in this case 'She's Never Been Born'!  ^_~  Good for you, Michael!  - Enjoy being the only child again! :D        Bye, Tara! ;)
