Our lips danced together with precision, mirroring each other perfectly. I could taste the alcohol on his breath, teasing my taste buds with hints of spearmint toothpaste. His rough stubble scratched the soft skin of my face, contrasting drastically with his plush pink lips. We pulled apart briefly as I took in the supple feature of small, spread out freckles across the bridge of his upturned nose. His eyelashes created an imaginary dark line that outlined his sea blues and dipped into the black of his pupils. His pale skin blushed with slight redness from the blood vessels in his cheeks pulsating with each kiss. I closed my eyes, leaning in again. The more I leaned forward, I realized I couldn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and the boy was gone. He let me fall.

"Shhhhh! You're going to wake her up!" I heard a small whisper.

I furrowed my eyebrows and rose my arms to the sky in a long, pleasant stretch. I opened my mouth to yawn and rubbed under my eyes for any existing makeup. When I opened my eyelids, I was immediately blinded by the sun. I placed my hand over my eyes, whining slightly as a head with messed up fringe stepped in the way of the sunlight.

"You're lucky. I was just about to pour water over your head."

The teasings of Michael just flew over my head, the dream I was pulled from clouding my mind. I sat up and ran my fingers through my tangled mess of hair and tried to make myself look somewhat appealing.

"You don't have the balls, Clifford." I mumbled. I needed a big dose of caffeine before dealing with him. Even if he was hot as hell, he was always looking for a battle.

I looked around as my pupils adjusted to the brightness and I remembered what had happened the night before. The boys, Lilly, and I practically wrestled down people who wanted to drive home in their drunkenly state. After most of them had passed out in the grass, we decided to have a miniature party on the balcony so we could keep and eye on all the passed out people. Calum plugged his phone into the speakers and we sang and danced to his playlist until his phone died and we watched the fireworks from the opposite side of the lake. We fell asleep in the tanning chairs out on the balcony, Calum held Lilly in his arms as they shared a chair and I fell asleep after Michael so I wouldn't wake up with Sharpie on my face.

I walked inside to see Luke adjusting his SnapBack in the mirror and I made a B line to the coffee pot, trying to force the dream out of my thoughts. I grabbed a mug and poured myself some coffee and added sugar and milk uand stirred it all together, chugging the bitter-sweet liquid that satisfied my addiction.

"You're going to need a lot of that," Lilly spoke, walking up beside me. "We have to slave and clean all day. Ash stupidly offered that we'd clean up the mess for uncle Dave."

I took a long breath in through my nose to finish off the sweetness and smacked the chestnut colored glass on the marble countertop. "I didn't bring any clothes or perfume or even a toothbrush!" I panicked.

"Don't worry, you can borrow mine." I rose one eyebrow at Lilly. "Look would you rather smell or use the same deodorant stick?" She had a point.

I gripped onto her keys she held out and walked to her truck, unlocking it. I hopped into the backseat and changed into a pair of black leggings and a gray Nike hoodie. I put deodorant on and spritzed perfume on myself, after pulling my hair on top of my head in a messy bun.

They better have tooth brushes inside.

It's been an hour and so far, we haven't done anything but coat ourselves in great smelling liquid to cover up the sweat from dancing last night. We all raided Dave's bathroom and used up all his new toothbrushes and took whacks at Ash for making our lazy asses do this.

"Alright, I got us all trash bags so let's actually do something, yeah?" Calum suggested as he walked into the living room. We all groaned except for Ashton who sprung to his feet and took a spot next to Calum.

"He's right." Ashton shrugged, tossing a trash bag in my lap and onto the other boys. Calum sweetly pulled Lilly up with a gentle tug of her hand and led her outside.

"Comeeeee onnnnnnnn..." Mikey dragged out, still focused on Tom and Jerry in front of us.

Luke fell back onto my lap and pretended to fall asleep. As soon as his upper body was squishing my lap, tingles shot through my body and a full out blush crept over me. I pat his shoulders awkwardly. "Looks like I'm not getting up either." I shrugged, trying to distract myself from these odd feelings.

Mikey used his feet to push Luke off of me and onto the taupe carpet. He looked over to me and smiled smugly. "Now you can." I glared back to the green eyed boy and stood up, walking over to him. I bent down to his height as his eyebrows rose. I brushed my lips across his ear lobe and felt his body tense, as I gripped the pillow that propped him up and pulled it out, smacking him in the face.

He grabbed another pillow and hit me back until it started a full out war and he ripped his weapon, sending fuzz everywhere. Luke was chanting "Fight! Fight!" As Ashton took the pillows from us and practically forced us outside to work.

Ashton locked the doors behind us and stuffed the key down his pants. "My phones in there!" I whined. I actually didn't really care, but if Aaron texted me and I didn't respond, he'd start a fight over something stupid.

"Oh well!" Ashton giggled and started down the stairs and to the backyard.

Michael huffed and followed Ashton and Luke stayed behind with me. "I bet you I can get more cans than you." He smiled, seeing my worry.

That one line instantly lifted my mood. "You're on, Hemmings."
