My New Melody

Chapter 7

As I walked off stage, my heart rate decreased slowly after time. I couldn't believe I just did that! I got another standing ovation, and awesome comments from the judges. I proved all of those people wrong. I didn't get in because of pity; I got in becasue I can sing.

I gave the stage hand my microphone and guitar then went to exit through the stage door. But as I exited, I ran into a girl with bright red hair and fell to the floor.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry!" The girl exclaimed. Her hair just touched her shoulders and she had emerald green eyes. She wore ripped denim jeans and a cropped, oversized, cream sweater with a tank top underneath.

"Don't worry about it." I told her, picking myself ups and extending my hand, "I'm Aria, by the way."

"I'm Claire," she replied, shaking my hand. I gave her a small smile before pulling my hand away.

"Have you performed yet?"

"No, not yet, but I think I'm next."

Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled out and looked at the caller ID to see Raine's name and photo flashing at me.

"Sorry, I need to take this." I said to Claire.

"Oh okay, well I saw your performance and you were amazing.

"Thank you and good luck." I told her, walking away and swiping across my phone screen to answer the call.

(A.N. A = Aria, R = Raine)

A: Hey Rain.

R: Oh my god Aria, you are amazing! You made everyone speechless! I still can't believe it!

A: Rain calm down. I was okay, it wasn't perfect though.

R: Aria, are you kidding? Everyone loved you, everyone around me was only saying good things. Amazing things!

A: Okay, okay. Anyway, where are you? We need to go get some lunch.

R: I'm in the foyer. Meet me there.

A: Okay, see you there.

I ended the call and started to walk to where Ranie was waiting.

Once again, I felt my phone vibrate. I looked at the lock screen and saw a twitter notification. I put in my password before pressing the blue bird icon. Looking at my profile, I noticed more followers than ever; over 6000! And over 1000 mentions! I couldn't believe it. Scrolling rough them all, I noticed that they weren't all good. In fact, most of them weren't.

@1DLover101: Oh my god I hate her. Her voice sucks and she should just go kill herself @ItsAria

@LouisWife: She can't even sing, she has disgusting hair and her face is fugly @ItsAria

@Harryismine: @ItsAria go kill yourself

@1Dismylife: Stay away from my boys @ItsAria

The screen of my phone became blurry from tears and my whole body was shaking. I couldn't believe it. I was getting hate, and most of it was about the boys. The phone fell out of my hands and I slid down the wall, bringing my knees to my chest. Tears fell down my face.

It isn't fair. I've had enough crap in my life, now people hate me. All the words from the tweets went through my head.

...can't sing...

...disgusting...

...go kill yourself...

...stay away from my boys...

...go kill yourself...

With those words running through my head, I heard a voice calling my name out.

"Aria? Where are you? Aria?"

"H-here. I-I'm over h-here." I sobbed.

I heard running footsteps coming my way and Raine's head came into view.

"Aria! What happened? What's wrong?" She asked frantically, pulling me into her arms.

"Why me?" I cried into her shoulder.

Hola! It's @MiaLuvsYou here! I'm going to be uploading Chapter 7 through to at least Chapter 9 on here for Emily. Don't worry, she's perfectly fine; I'm just typing up exactly what she's written for her.

Be happy guys that I'm uploading right now, because I have exams starting in two days and I really should be studying seeing as I know absolutely nothing. Oh well.

Before I post the next chapter, let's see if we can get maybe...two votes and two comments for Emily? Because she's an amazing writer, and doesn't get nearly as much recognition as she deserves. I know you can do it guys! And if you do, I'll give you all a lollipop!
