Daniel's pov-

i stroked my thumb over her cheek as we laid on the infirmary bed

i knew somewhere in the room Amy and my mother wee there probably or struck by my bipolarity but i became oblivious to all that the moment my eyes met her sparkling blue one

and i came to the conclusion that i would never let her go again. i had only scratched the surface of the heart ache i was feeling who knows what would happen after

"i love you" i whispered running my fingers through her hair and gently caressing the back of her neck

a smile over took her face

"i love you too" she said so quietly that if i didn't have werewolf hearing i would have missed it i smiled softly as well as i laid my head on the pillow holding her body to mine as i slowly fell asleep

five days later

i stared at her across my desk my chin resting on the hard wood i had finished my Alpha work and she was still at a painfully slow pace finishing her Luna work i stared at her

and she knew i was looking

she knew what i wanted

and the smirk on her face told me exacatliy(i don't know how to spell this word!!!!!) that, she knew, that i knew, that she knew, what i wanted

and what that something was

was a run

she finally set down the last paper and signed her name before placing it in the stack with the other ones i almost cried out in happiness as i quickly and eagerly got out of my chair

"lets go" i whined out mentally slapping myself that's not how an Alpha acts, but i'm with my mate so that's okay

she gave me a cute confused look "go where?" she asked but the evil glint in her blue eyes told me everything i needed to know

"a run" i said with a sigh "please, come on"

"mmmm no" she said dismissively

getting up from her chair and walking to the door but i was quick to her grabbing her and pulling her back to my chest i wanted no needed a run but it was no fun without her

"please" i begged running short kisses along her neck her head lulled back and she whined as i stopped

"fine" she said pouting an i kissed her pouted lips

armed with a spare change of clothes and a bucket load of energy we made for the tree line and continued on our way until we were out of sight from the pack house and then i shifted and she followed i stood to my ten foot height shaking out my black fur i yipped with happiness as i looked to my mate taking the time to take in her beauty as she laid across the ground

her lone white fur shone golden in the sunlight the tip of her tail was black short hair similar large and small black dots littered up her body, this being the third time i had seen her wolf i liked to think of the black as all the bad things that had tainted her pure innocence i looked to her eyes last they had no solid color always shifting every few seconds, iridescent eyes,

i moved over to her nuzzling her shoulder before we tarted nuzzling each other, god did i love this women

my wolf howled in agreement before we both let our wolves take over

running, jumping, playing, nipping tails and chasing each other before we snuggled up together to sleep

i woke up it was dark we had fallen into our death of a sleep the moon had risen high in the sky casting a pale glow over the small clearing we had settled in

i didn't feel Nova against me

i didn't see Nova anywhere

i felt something move against my side and i looked down only to look away again if wolves could blush i would be bright red

Nova was in human form

stark naked

and sleeping

but thankfully she began to stir there was a few seconds of short seconds of silence where all i felt was her confusion through the bond then her embarrassment hit me full force

"ummm she said this is..."

"uncomfortable?" i finished for her

"i'm just going to shift now?"

"yeah" i said the air was filled completely with awkwardness
