As the sun disappeared over the horizon, three girls who were standing in the middle of the forest changed their appearance dramatically. Well, their appearance didn't change but people saw them differently.

One who was wearing a black jumper and black jeans suddenly changed and wore a light green t-shirt, red sneakers and a bacca beanie. Her brown hair changed to have blue tips, and her sunglasses disappeared to reveal one blue eye and one green eye.

The second girl who wore a black and white stripped shirt and brown leggings changed to wear a black shirt, a white coat and black shoes. An enderman head hat appeared on her already brown hair that was pulled back into a ponytail.

The last girl was wearing a blue jumper, a white shirt and black pants. These changed to dark blue, and blue gloved appeared on her hands. Her light blue eyes darkened to deep blue and her brown hair remained untouched.

The three girls looked at each other.

"I can't see any difference," the second girl remarked.

"Neither can I. Did it work Crazy?" the third girl looked to the first.

Crazy flicked back her brown and blue hair. "It should. I just didn't change how we see each other, cause that'll be too hard. Should we ask for an outsiders opinion?"

The third girl nodded. "Writer? How do we look?"

*sigh* I'm pretty sure there's a rule about you guys not talking to me.

"Well we've already broken it, so answer the question," Crazy said.

You all look different for everyone else. Happy?

"Yes, thank you," the third girl said.

"Since when were you polite Storm?" the second girl asked.

"Aura, I'll have you know that I'm very polite."

"Whatever, let's go to the hatch!" Crazy said before running off.

Storm's POV

Okay, I don't feel different and I don't look different. I am starting to doubt if this plan of mine is gonna work. The last plan I came up with went horribly: It created Voldemort. So now that we were at the edge of the forest and about to infiltrate the squid base with disguises, my worries were really piling up. But it was too late to back out now. At least, that's what I told myself.

"Okay, there's the hatch," Aura whispered, pointing to a small metal flap in the bottom of the wall that made the squid base. It was just wide enough for us to slip down, one at a time. "Who's gonna go first?"

We just looked at each other. "Fine, I'll go," I said after a few minutes of silence. Making sure there was no one watching, I teleported to the wall, beside the squid base. I could have just run to the wall, using my supersonic speed, but I find teleporting easier. It doesn't hurt my head as much.

Crazy was next. She sprinted across the gap between the trees and the wall, her beanie almost falling off. Aura followed her, running silently to us. We waited a few seconds to see if any alarm was raised, but all was silent. I bent down to the hatch and opened it, peering inside. It was pitch black, impossible to tell what lay beyond. I took a deep breath and wiggled my way in, legs first. I slipped and fell completely in, falling into water of some kind. I smelt something disgusting and coughed.

"Storm? Is it clear?" I heard Crazy call.

"Yeah, it's good," I called back. "Just be careful. There's a steep drop and water at the bottom."

I heard one of them slipping through and Crazy appeared at my side a second later, gagging at the smell. Aura came next and all three of us were standing waist deep in the smelly water.

"Uh guys," Aura said. "I think I know what this water is."

I eyed a unidentifiable lump floating near me and suddenly wanted to throw up.

"I bet this is Writer getting her revenge on us," Crazy muttered, ploughing forward in the 'water'.

I followed her example, trying to breathe through my mouth. It didn't help much. There was only one main tunnel, but lots of smaller tunnels came in from the roof and walls. Aura almost got hit by something coming out of one of the small tunnels. The smell got worse and worse as we went, and Crazy muttered about how she would have to burn her clothes when this was over. I agreed with her. Burn our clothes in a large fire in some deserted universe.

The tunnel twisted and curved without reason and I quickly lost my sense of direction (That's not saying much. I have a horrible sense of direction). We came to  tunnel that had arrows all around the entrance. There was also a note carved into the wall.

Hope you liked the tunnel. >:)

"Yep," Crazy muttered. "Totally getting their revenge on us."

Aura rolled her eyes. "Doesn't matter. We're here, and I bet that this tunnel comes up near the cells."

"Any volunteers to go first?" I asked, smiling and gesturing towards the tunnel.

Neither Crazy or Aura volunteered, so I was forced to go first. The tunnel wasn't steep but the sides were slippery. I kind of climbed/floated up using my wind magic (Which didn't work very well in the cramped space). There was another hatch on the lid of the tunnel and I pushed it back to what might have been the toilets. I don't know. Do squids even use toilets? A few minutes later, we were all at the top, our pants and the bottom of our shirts wet and smelly.

"I am gonna have a long talk with Writer about this," Crazy said.

"Later. Right now we have to save Team Crafted and get out," Aura said.

"Good point. So, which way do we go?" I asked, looking out the door.

"Okay, let's split up," Aura said. "Storm, you go left. Crazy, you and I will go right."

I nodded and ran down the left hand corridor. I passed nothing but small passageways that I ignored. After a few minutes of running, I reached a sturdy door at the end of the passage. It was unlocked, but the hinges were stiff. I put my shoulder against the door and shoved it open. I stumbled at it squeaked open, quickly stepping forward so I didn't fall over. I was in a long corridor with iron bars at regular intervals along its length.

Welp, looks like I found the cells. Now let's hope there's some humans down here.

I ran down, looking in each empty cell, my heart sinking with each one I passed. Maybe this wasn't the right place. Maybe I was wrong. And then I found a cell with three people in it. One of them wore a torn checkered jacket, the second had a ripped purple cape and glowing handcuffs, and the last one wore a suit.

"Hey Mitch, Seto, Ian, what's up?" I greeted.

"Who are you?" Ian asked.

"A friend," I said. "My name's S... Tinarris. I'm busting you guys out of here." I hoped neither of them noticed my hesitation as I examined the lock. It was a simple tumbler, easy for me to pick. If I had something to pick it with.

"Do either of you guys have a stick or something thin?" I asked.

"Uh, I've got this pin," Seto said, handing me a pin with an elaborate engraved 'S' on it. I used it to pick the lock and opened the door for them.

"Are you here on your own?" Mitch asked, limping slightly as he came out of the cell.

"Nope. I've got two friends who are looking somewhere else," I told them, leading them back the way I came.

"So, which army are you from?" Ian asked as we walked down the corridor

"Ty's. The Dead Army."

"What about your friends?"

"Dead and the Sorcerers."

Seto ran next to me. "What's their name?" he asked.

"Alexandra."

Seto was cut off from answering when we rounded a corner and saw Aura and Crazy with several people walking behind them, mot of which I recognised: Sky, a fluffy thing I assumed to be Jerome, Jason, Ty and a fish-like thing. Quentin maybe?

"Squid minion!" Ty yelled, pointing to us.

I spun around, ready to fight but there was only Bajan, Seto and Ian behind me. I turned back to Ty.

"Are you talking about me?" I asked. "I'm not a squid minion. I just really like blue."

He looked at me suspiciously then ran to Seto and started talking to him. Mitch and Jerome also started talking, and so did Ian and Quentin. Sky and Jason stood further off, obviously uncomfortable.

I sighed. "We don't have time for this. Come on guys. Let's just get out of here."

And then some real squid minions came into view. They saw us and everyone was instantly silent for what seemed like an age.

"THE PRISONERS ARE ESCAPING!" one of them yelled and they ran away, sounding the alarm.

"So much for sneaking out," I muttered.

"We'll have to fight our way out of here," Aura said.

"Why do we do this again?" Crazy asked.

I shrugged. "Because we can?"

She looked at me.

"Good enough. LET'S DO THIS!"

I believe that this is the longest chapter in this book so far. But anyway, hoped you guys like it, hope you guys are ready for some squids to be beaten up and until next chapter, have a great day!
