[I enjoyed the show, darlin']—Unknown
Stiffening with unease, Lilith bit her bottom lip. The words although harmless, sent trepidation coursing through her nerves. Silas wasn't the type to play around with an anonymous text, somehow she knew the brute would make her shamelessly aware of any pleasure he'd received from her. The cold air snaked its way down her spine, this seemed to be disturbingly unsettling.
Swiftly deleting the text, she placed the device back on the counter and climbed out of the almost cold water, the temperature change danced goose bumps across her damp skin. Drying hastily, she dressed behind the cover and comfort of her walk in wardrobe. Unable to shake the chilling thought of someone other than Silas, still watching her, Lilith drew shut the translucent curtains. She took a step away from the window and worried her bottom lip.
She was sure no one was out there; her street was empty. The house opposite theirs had been vacant for years. Aside from the houses, there was forest. When she'd taunted Silas, she was sure he was the only one watching, although she had been distracted by fantasies of him fucking her into tomorrow. She moved back to the bathroom, grabbed her phone and watched the blank screen for a few seconds. She didn't know what to do, with a frustrated groan she tossed the small device on her bed as she exited the joint room.
Lilith dismissed the message altogether, she had more pressing thoughts to exhaust her energy on— like bringing Silas to his knees... or maybe falling to hers instead— pleased by the idea she drifted from the middle of her room to her bed, the plush carpet caressing her feet as she went. Slipping under the covers of her bed, Lilith closed her eyes and sank into a deep sleep.

She woke to the sound of a crash coming from somewhere downstairs, almost instantly Lilith jumped out of her bed and ran to see what had caused the commotion. She hoped her father wasn't fending off an axe murderer at the arse crack of dawn, or much worse. Coming to a stop in the kitchen, she watched her father sheepishly pick up cutlery. Lilith rubbed the sleep from her eyes with a groan, she shook her head at Chris and made her way back up to her room.
Heading for her bathroom, she brushed her teeth and washed her face. She needed to clear her mind, deciding to take a jog after breakfast, she stepped into appropriate attire. Making her way back downstairs she took a seat at the dining table and brushed her fingers through her sleep tousled hair. "You're up early," Chris commented, plating up scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. She straightened in her seat as he placed the food in front of her.
"I just thought I'd take a jog..." She mumbled avoiding his gaze, so to not attract suspicion, quickly she sipped at her glass of orange juice; her father could always tell when she was lying. It wasn't as though she could spurt out the truth about her midnight fantasies, the thoughts that kept her tossing under her sheets and craving her father's best friend. She was sure that wouldn't go over all too well.
Chris took a seat in front of his daughter, she'd surprised him by coming down. Normally they'd plan it so he wouldn't have work commitments, this time however she'd sprung her visit. He felt bad for leaving but it was a necessary evil, "Lilith." He drew her attention, "I need to leave for the weekend." He saw her put down her fork, "I wouldn't have committed to anything if I'd have known you were coming." He tried to explain.
"When you leavin'?" She questioned, taking another sip from her cup.
He shifted uncomfortably, "Mid-day, today."
"Okay." Lilith nodded, her reply was delayed. She wouldn't have minded if he'd left her by herself any other time, but something about last night kept itching at her mind.
