Sans woke up in a beautiful hillside. The sun was shining and a gentle breeze blew. It wasn't too hot either. A perfect spring day..
Sans smiled. " Heh it's a beautiful day outside... The birds are singing...the flowers are blooming..."
A voice whispered in his head. "On days like these, kids like you...should be burning in hell..."
Sans's eyes turned black at the fraggment of that memory. " ...wow I just...just wow.... I'm totally speechless... Heh"
He looked to the left and far away, he saw a few monsters gathered on the hill top. It was Geneva...and two little ones. One of them wore a blue jacket, like the one he wore, and anpair of shorts like his as well. He didn't have trouble realising it was him...however, he looked at the smaller skeleton. He looked around 4 years old and clung to Sans, his eyes not understandin...or knowing....what was happening...
"Who's that babbybone clinging to little me?" Sans walked closer to listen in to the conversation.
"Now Sans...I need you to do two things for me. Promise to keep this scarf safe for when I return...and take care of Pappyrus. I am going to be gone for a while...and I need to make sure you take care of him no matter what. And if you can..." Geneva chuckled. "Make sure your dad doesn't do anything stupid while I am gone." Geneva handed Papyrus a little orange scraf to wrap around his neck.
Sans blinked a little, a fluttery feeling in his soul. "P-Papyrus?..."
Little Sans only giggled and said, "Don't worry mom. I promise!"
Papyrus, the small skeleton Geneva had mentioned before smiled and nodded. "Y-YEAH!!! MY BWOTHER AND I NEVER BWAKE OUR PWOMISES!!!"
Geneva teared up a little. "I will see you two soon. Now go with Gaster and don't cause trouble alright?"
Papyrus grinned. "YES MOMMY!!! YOU CAN COUNT ON US!!!"
Little Sans nodded, and blushed as his mom kissed his head. "MOOOOOOOOM!!!"
Geneva giggled. "I will see you two soon...my children."
Little Sans and Papyrus were gone, but Sans couldn't leave the area...there was more to this memory to know...
Sans gasped at the realisation..."M-mom...?"
Suddenly, battle raged around him and his eyes were glued on his mother as he mentally rooted for her. People battleing went through him, since all he was there was an apperation...blood, limbs, and the smell of fear and sweat was overloading in the once beautiful hillside making them horrific and nightmareish.
His mom was fighting a blonde human, young. A male, so it seemed, and a slippery one at that. She had to constantly keep her guard up on every side possible and when she lost sight of the boy, she started to panic...then, she felt the tip of the sword cut through her back and exit through her belly. Blood poured from the wound. A fatal hit and she started to crumble apart...
Geneva gasped..."G-Gaster....Sans....Pa-Papyrus!!!* She coughed blood as she started to finally turn into dust, but not before saying, "I love you all..." Then she vanished.
Sans started to cry, tears leaking down his face... "H-huh? W-why am I...Why am I crying?...I..." He breaks down sobbing, his head in his hands.
Then the scene changes and Sans sees Gaster in the lab, watching his wife die on camera. Like Sans, he was sobbing horribly. "No...no no no no No No No NO NO NO NOOOOO!!!" He explodes in anger and breaks some empty glass flasks. "YOU FILTHY HOUNDS I WILL BREAK THIS BERRIOR AND KILL YOU ALL!!!" He turned and started to work...but time passed it seemed...and Gaster sank into a depression. The children noticed as they sat here with Gaster, Papyrus in his lap, Little Sans standing next to Gaster's chair.
"Why..." The deep feeling he had in his chest...all this despair and agony...was making him feel sick.
Papyrus asked "Daddy? When is momma coming back?..."
Gaster gasped and tensed. . . And said nothing.
Little Sans touched Papyrus's shoulder. "Bro...we should spagetti out of here. Heheheheheheheheh"
Sans laughed brightly. "OH MY GAWD THAT WAS HILLARIOUS!!!"
Papyrus jumped off Gaster and chased Little Sans out the door " SANS YOU NUMBSKULL I AM GOING TO HURT YOU!!!"
Little Sans chuckled. "Bro...you just said a pun!"
The brother screamed as he tackled Little Sans outside.
"Face it. You're smiling."
"I know and I hate it..."
Gaster laughed as he shut the door tight, locking it. He stopped laughing immediately. Then, he took two strange chemicals and combined them, commiting suicide by chemical reaction and Gaster was erased from existence forever.
Sans stared at the mess. "What...the LITERALL F*&K?!? I mean, I get my mom DIED but to die like this?!? Ugh! I don't get it!!! What did Papyrus and I do after all of this happened? Where did we go?!? WHY DID HE ABANDON US?!? WHY?!?"
And as he saw his brother, pain speared him in the gut. "Not...again..."
