Chapter 7

Me pregnant? I can't be pregnant at this age.

I look at Jace and he's staring back at me with love in his eyes. I smile weakly and he frowns.

"Can you give us a minute Viv?" He asked and she nods then leaves.

"Babe what's wrong? Aren't you happy? We're gonna have a child." He says searching my eyes for answers.

"I can't be pregnant Jace. I've just only turned 17."

"Don't you want to have my children?" His voice pained as he says this.

"I do babe don't get me wrong... It's just too soon don't you think?"

"If you're thinking about giving up this baby you're way out of your mind that's my child too! I know you're young I get it I'm young too but we were gonna eventually have pups." He yells at first then his tone softens towards the end.

"No I-I wasn't thinking about giving it up. I was just saying its too early. That how could I have let this happen? I'm more careful than this..." I look down at my hands in my lap.

"Baby hey look at me."

I look up to him tears threaten to spill from my eyes but I hold them in.

"We can work things out. I'm here, that's our child. You don't have to be scared."

"But what if I'm not a good mother?" A tear slips down my cheek. He kisses it away and holds me in his arms.

"You'll be a great mother. Our pups will love you unconditionally. And you won't be doing anything alone I'm here." He says holding me tight.

"Did you just say pups? As in more than one?" I questioned him.

"Yea... why? Don't you want to have more than one?"

"No no no no you're saying you want more than one because you won't be the one carrying them around for 9 months or in my case 3 to 4." I cross my arms and look at him, but he just smiles and kisses my forehead. Werewolves' pregnancies are 3x faster than human pregnancies.

"Promise me you'll think about having more pups. Just imagine them running around happily and us being one big happy family." He says to me.

I look away as if thinking about it, which I was for a second and come to think about it, it shouldn't be that bad plus I would love having little Jace look a-likes running around playing. So adorable. I look back at him as if I was going to say no, but instead I smile and nod.

"I love you. You know that right?" He says holding my face in his hands. I nod and kiss him softly and passionately.

"I love you too babe. Can we go home now?" I asked still kind of nervous about the whole situation but not as much as before.

"Yea let me just tell the doctor." He said getting up and walking out.

I look down at my stomach. What will I have? What will I name him or her? Will I be a good mother? All these questions run through my mind and I didn't notice Jace come back in.

"Babe? You ready?"

"Huh? Oh yea let's go."

He looked at me for a while and shook it off and grabbed my hand. We both walked to the car in silence... well more like him trying to talk to me but I kept wandering into my own little world.

Well tomorrow is a whole new day... also Monday. Great.

So sorry for not updating fast enough :( I hope this chapter makes up for it even though I think it's not as good. I will try my best to have another chapter up tomorrow.
