Meeting the Joker

Jades PoV
I open the door and I'm greeted with a man with green hair, tattoos and can I say also shirtless? He does look pretty fit though... No Jade stop! He's a criminal! "Hi. I'm Jade-Lily Wayne." I hold my hand out shakily. "Joker. I'm sorry I'm shirtless, some guy got in a fight with me and ripped it." He walks into the house. "Right get ready though because... We are going out." He smirks. "O-ok." I stutter and I run upstairs to grab my phone and earphones. "Quick. Because the police are on my tail!" He shouts and go to the top of the stair railing and jump over it. "Impressive." He simply says and we walk out to his purple Lamborghini. "We're meeting Harley at..." He trails off and looks at his phone. "My hideout." He turns the car on and quickly drives through the city. "What is your hideout exactly?" I ask quietly. "My hideout is an abandoned warehouse." He smiles. "O-ok." I stutter slightly scared. "What do you want with me?" I ask him. "Well. Honey. That's a complicated awnser..." He says and we finally arrive outside the abandoned warehouse. "Ok? Explain to me." I say and he frustratedly sighs. "I've heard a lot about you ok?!" He yells and I flinch. "O-ok..." I stutter quietly. "Harley! We're home!!" Joker shouts and Harley runs out. "Puddin' your home!" She hugs him and he stands there for a minute before she lets go. "You brought Jade as well!" She half smiles and half smirks at me. "Hi Harley." I smile and then look around awkwardly as they both talk. I look around for a minute and realise there's a few men sitting in the living room, henchmen probably? I don't know. I take a few steps to see what else is here and I wonder off from Joker and Harley. I walk up some spiralling stairs away from the main room and I see a room that says 'DANGER DON'T GO IN!' So curiosity killed the cat and I stupidly went in to see acid baths at the bottom of a long drop. "Holy shit! How do people get down there?!" I whisper shout so people don't suspect where I am. I walk out of the acid bath room and walk down the hall to a window. "JADE! GET HERE NOW!!" Joker shouts sounding pissed. "Shit!" I sprint down the stairs and see Joker with Harley standing behind him. "Where did you go?!" He shouts and I flinch. "I-I-I was just e-exploring." I stutter scared out of my mind. "NO YOU WERENT WHAT WERE YOU DOING?!" He slaps me around the face making me fall to the floor as tears escape my eyes. "Jade!" Harley runs over to me to comfort me but I back away from her. "S-stay away!" I stutter crying and I stand up and run out of the warehouse. My face stings and I can't go back to the mansion like this!
Dad, don't panic when you get home. I'm at a friends sleeping over. Love you jade xx
I quickly send the text and I go to a hotel with the left over money that was in my bag that I took and I paid for the room.

I get a text from an unknown number so I look at it.
Hey Jade its Harley, if you need to talk to me X about what happened just text or call me. He has a bit of a personality disorder. HQ xx
I feel slightly relived after that text but also slightly disturbed. I look around my hotel room that I was now in and turned on the TV. Batman was out again, Joker and Harley aren't on sight but the penguin is on the loose as well as the riddler. "Common Gotham..." I say to myself slightly laughing. My phone goes goes off making me jump. "Holy crap!" I awnser the phone and it's Harley again. "Hi Harley! You just scared me!" I shout and I hear her laughing. "Hey Jade. Just calling to make sure your ok from earlier?" She asks me and I sigh. "I'm fine, just a bit shaken up. I was just looking around." I awnser her and I hear laughing again but not from Harley. "Where is she?!" I hear a voice and then a scream which is probably Harley's. "Harley? Harley!" I shout and I get no response other than something moving about. "Jade-Lily Wayne. I'm coming to find you!" The voice says and maniacal laughing then the line goes dead. That wasn't Joker. Is he even there?! I dial Jokers number and he takes a minute to awnser. "What?!" He shouts annoyed. "Harley's been kidnapped!" I shout and he laughs. "So what am I meant to do save her?!" He says sarcastically. "If you won't save her I will then." I hang up the phone. Oh shit that was a kind of bad thing to say! If I'm gonna save a criminal from another criminal, might as well dress up as a criminal! I grab my keys, phone and earphones and the hotel key and go down stairs. "Can I have my money back, I forgot that I have someone waiting for me." I pass the key back to the receptionist and he gives me my 15dollars back. I call a cab to take me back to the mansion and Alfred greets me there. "Ms Wayne you had me and you dad worried sick! Where have you been?!" Alfred escorts me inside. "Well it's a fucking long story!" I laugh and dad walks down the stairs. "Well, tell us the story..." Alfred says and I look at him worried. "Well..." I start.
