Chapter 48

SAMMIE POV:

"You." She said. "Why?" I looked over at her. "Listen Sam, we're just worried about you. You've been acting strange the past few days around food and you've been super anxious. Marissa found those pictures on your phone again." She said and I chuckled. "Do you really compare this situation to back then? Come on guys I mean I've been in a fight with you, I just lost one of my best friends and if you think I'll just move on with my life you're wrong." I said and turned my back to her.

"Babe don't." She said. "Don't what?" I replied. "Don't act like this. We just care about you Sammie." She sighed. I let a tear fall down and closed my eyes. I could feel her kiss my head and then keeping me close to her. "I love you." She whispered. "I love you more." I said and then we heard a knock on the door.

"Who's there?" Demi screamed, too lazy to get up. "It's me." We heard Marissa say. "Come in then." Demi said, knowing she hasnt locked the door.

"Hey lovebirds." She winked at us. "Shut up mom." I giggled. "What's up Rissa?" Demi asked her.

"Luna, Madison, Nick and I are going out for dinner tonight, I wanted to ask if you'd like to come with us?" She looked over at us. "Sure thing." I said and Demi smiled.

"Be ready at 5pm. We'll meet you downstairs." She said and then left. "I thought we were going out together?" Demi smirked. "This is also fun babe." I smiled and then kissed her.

"My fans have been begging for the free backstage passes you know." Demi smiled. "I will do it for you Dems." I winked at her and then buried my head into her chest. It just feels so good to be with someone who loves you and who you love. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to call her my girlfriend.

Anyways we spent the day on the bed, watching movies and stuff. Around 4pm we both got up and got ready for the night.

She's wearing a black ripped jeans with a white shirt on it. I'm wearing a white jeans with a black croptop on it.

"You look stunning." I said and looked at her. "So do you baby." She kissed me. "Let's go." I took her hand and we walked downstairs.

"You nervous?" She asked. "Why?" I asked her. "Your hands are sweating." She casually said. "Sorry." I took my hand out of hers abd felt myself slightly blushing.

"It's fine baby what's up." She said. "I don't know." I told her and she nodded, then kissed my head.

"Hey Demi." Marissa said and gave her a hug. "Hey baby." She looked at me and gave me a hug. "Hey." Demi and I said in common.

"Everyone's ready so let's go." Marissa said and put one arm around me. "How are you?" She asked while walking. "I'm alright. How are you?" I asked her. "I'm good. What's going on in that mind of yours?" She asked looking at me. "I just miss Alex." I said and laid my head on her shoulder. "I know baby I'm sorry." She said and put me closer to her.

After a 10 minute walk we arrived at the restaurant.

"Hey buddy." Nick said as he took a seat next to me. "Hey." I smiled at him. "I miss you." I said and looked at him. "I'm right here kiddo." He said and I chuckled. "No grandpa I miss our moments together. We barely talk anymore." I said and then he hugged me. "Then we will babygirl."

Don't get this wrong, he's like my big old old brother.

"Do you know what you want babe?" Demi asked, who's on the seat on the other side next to me. "Not sure yet. I might just go for a pizza. How about you?" I smiled at her going through the menu. "Burger with fries." She said. "So original!" I tried not to laugh but as soon as she laughed I did too. "Asshole." She said, still smiling.

Demi took the burger with fries, I took a pizza, Nick took fish with fries and Marissa & Madison both got pasta.

After a while our food came and we enjoyed our meals and talked about everything.

"How's your pizza?" Demi asked. "Great babe how's your casual dinner?" I chuckled. "Shut up. It's amazing as always." She said and pouted.

"I'm going outside, I'll be back." Madison said and got up. "Wait. What are you gonna do outside?" Demi asked and took her hand. "Smoke." She said like it's nothing. "You're not going anywhere." Demi said and I could see she was getting mad. "Madison I'll come with you. Demi, let her go." I said and stood up. "What are you doing?" Demi snapped at me. "Taking care of your babysister." I said and then walked out of the restaurant with Madison.

"Thanks Sam." She hugged me once we were outside. "Anytime. Just one thing." I said and she looked at me. "Please promise me you're gonna try to stop smoking." I looked into her eyes and I could just feel guilt. How sad she still is and how dark her life has become. "I promise." She said. "But only if you help me." She said and looked at me again. "Ofcourse I will." I hugged her and then sat down 2 streets away from the restaurant.

To Marissa;
"We won't be long. Meet us at the hotel later."

I texted her and then took a selfie with Madison.

"@SammieCallahan: Much love for this one." I added the picture and shared it on both instagram and twitter.

"You ready to head back?" I asked her. "Yeah it's getting cold in here." She said. "Take my jacket." I took it off and put it around her. "Thanks." She smiled at me.

After a 10 minute walk we arrived at the hotel again. "You know, I have an idea." I said and smiled at her. "Let's have a lady's night. We can go into the spa, go to the cinema, go to the club, go swimming, have a sleepover, anything you want." I said and she smiled at me now but it soon faded. "I don't think Demi would let me." She said and looked down.

"But you are with me now so let's get ready. What do you want to do?" I asked her. "Go to the cinema first, then to the club." She smiled. "Just one thing," I looked into her eyes. "I won't let you drink alcohol." I said. "That's fine Samson I understand. Let's get ready!!" She said with excitement.

Knowing Demi would be mad or upset I walked to her room with Madison so she won't be alone.

"Hey." Demi said as soon as we walked in. "Hey Dems, I'm going out with Sammie tonight is that okay?" Madison asked and Demi nodded.

As soon as Madison put on the shower Demi looked at me. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" She snapped at me. "Excuse me?" I said, kinda shocked at how mad she was, let's say furious.

"Don't act like she is your babysister, she's mine Sammie." She said.

"If she's your babysister then maybe you should act like a big sister to her." I looked away.

"I took care of her all her life, I made sure she was happy, I made sure she got everything she wanted, I was there for her the entire time and this is what I get back." She almost screamed.

"You weren't there, not now not ever. You were always somewhere else." Madison said. We both didn't realize she heard everything we said.
