Juvia had pushed her way in, leaving me staring outside. Maybe if I left now, I could pretend that everything that was happing inside my house was just my imagination. If I run fast enough then I can escape without getting involved with whatever is about to go down. "Gajeel!" I hear a high pitch voice yell, I felt myself grow glum at the voice.
I turn to look at the door, maybe the run would be better. I could hear the stomping of footstep making their way towards me, too late. Well if I ran like this I'll probably freeze to death, I closed the door and slowly made my way into the large crowd of people.
Juvia stood by herself, her arms crossed and eyes glued towards Levy. Levy was glaring at her just as hard, hands on her hip and eyes burning a hole through Juvia. Lucy stood towards Levy's left and Juvia's right, her hands in a fist and looking between both girls. Natsu was standing up, keeping a close eye on the three, unlike Gray who was still in his seat and looking confused.
I let out a sigh as I made my way into the three, the heat that came from their eyes was melting me in the inside. "who is she?" Gray had broken the silence and his eyes were locked on Juvia. Juvia slowly turns to look towards Gray, her eyes widening at his stare.
I let out a sigh at the situation, four unexpected guests had arrived, I still was in unclear terms with Levy and now I had another situation on my hands. "This is Juvia," I say making Gray gasp, "Oh the finance," he says with qoution hands, to the last word. Natsu had smacked Gray's arm after receiving a deadly glare from Juvia."yes, her" at those words, I could feel Levy glaring at me.
"Okay, let's all calm down and have some sweets" I hear Natsu says while stuffing his face. All eyes turn to him, he looked at everyone once more before rolling his eyes and going back to eating, "last time I try to help" he mumbled as he moved back to the table.
"Juvia, why are you here?" I finally ask, Juvia's eyes finally moved back to me, a toss of her hair and a huff from her mouth, made me raise my eyebrow confused. "I came to check on you," she says as her eyes roamed around the room, "but it seemed I didn't have to" she huffs as she looks towards Levy once more.
Levy was already glaring at her, uninterested with what Juvia wanted. Juvia had readjusted her coat as she marched back towards the door. "wait! stay for a nice cup of coffee" I hear Gray yell as he held up a cup towards Juvia. When did he get up? and how much coffee did he make? Juvia looked towards the cup with hesitation before walking towards Gray. She mumbled a small "thank you" before sipping on the drink.
Juvia had taken a seat beside Gray, an awkward vibe came from her as she removed her jacket. Lucy had slowly made her way back towards Natsu , leaving me and Levy standing. Levy had pressed herself close towards me, clinging onto me. Juvia had her eyes locked on Levy but Levy didn't seem fazed by her eyes.
"listen, guys, let's get everything straightens out" I add. Everyone's eyes looked towards me, nodding slowly before waiting for me to go on. Hours passed by, words were being thrown and tears had started to flow. The room had turned into a courtroom, questions were being asked and answers were being yelled.
Many time Natsu had jumped on the table, whistle at loudly to calm the situation down but once it's was calm it was back into a storm, with them yelling and screaming one another. But at the end, the situation finally did make sense.
Levy was a fallen star, her people live off of love. Physical love, she was thrown onto earth for loving the prince of the stars, which is banned because she is nothing more than a peasant. Jellal washed her with love which gave her a new boost of energy, although it pains me that she didn't trust me with loving her, I was happy she was alright.
"I have plenty of energy now" she whispers as she smiled towards me, I felt the heat rush up to my face. Juvia had actually come over worried for me, after seeing me yesterday she wanted to know if everything was alright. To see if I had eaten and was actually safe from any danger, everyone knew she meant Levy.
This three had the same idea since I had refused to answer the phone. We were all three drinks in, Levy and Lucy had switched to tea, while the rest went for a cup of cold water. Our mouths were dried from the yelling and arguing. My eyes had finally shifted over to the clock to see it was passed twelve and the loud growl that had come from Natsu stomach only meant it was time for lunch.
Everything was fine, the air was still thick with awkwardness and uncertainty but no one wanted to tear anyone's throat out. "should I cook you guys some lunch?" I ask and I could see the excitement in everyone's eyes. Everyone eagerly nodding their heads as I made my way towards the kitchen.
I hear the door bell ring with the clutter of someone chair, "I got it! you just cook!" I hear Natsu yell. I let out a small chuckle as I moved towards my fridge and cabinets pulling out different types of food to make something large enough to fill Natsu, but still not too heavy for everyone else. I was happily humming when I heard someone behind me, "We might need one more plate" Natsu growled.
I turn around and saw the last person I wanted to see. "why are you here?" I ask through my teeth and he just gave me a small grin.
"You know why" and that when my fist collided with his face.
