I look over at the black steel door.
It hasn't changed since I last looked at it, though I'm sure I would've heard if it did.

"God dammit!" I stepped in a gray puddle of something.
Crouching down I peer into it, hoping for a peek at my reflection.
No dice, but there's a dead rat belly up in the middle of the puddle.
Appetizing. I gag in my mouth a little.
I've been pacing for what feels like ten hours, but only must've been ten minutes.
I vomited immediately, so I assume I've been unconscious for a while.
I assume that I'm in a prison cell based of my too big gray jump suit, and the fact that I can't open the door.
I assume I must be short, because the ground doesn't look so far away.
I assume I have a name.
I stand back up and back away from the puddle and drowned rat. I continue my pace.

Bang Bang Bang Bang
I freeze, and turn slowly towards my door.
What was that.
I hear it coming closer to my cell, the banging is getting louder.
Bang Bang Bang BANG
I hear a voice yell at me to get on the ground, that if I'm not when they get in, they'll shoot.
I'm shaking as I lower myself to the ground.
The door flies open, seconds after I flatten myself to the floor.
Rough hands grab me and pull me to my feet.
"Don't try anything, girl." A rough, older sounding male voice says behind me.
A younger man, closer to what I assume my age is, steps in front of me.
He looks me up and down, looking for something.
He suddenly snaps his gaze to mine, his eyes easily pinning me in place.
The other guy didn't need to be restraining me if his partner had this capability.
"Let's go." The younger man turns his gaze to his older counterpart behind me.
"It's time to introduce her to Milo."
