An Eye For An Eye

The two children stood toe to toe with one another neither showing any sign of regret upon their decisions. Illumi lunged toward Midnight who quickly dodged to her left.  A punch to her throat would have been the result if the attack had not been avoided, But now it was Midnight's turn to attack and as Illumi's back was facing herself the hand she had which was most dominant the right, was engulfed in a reddish pink fog as she used her hand to send a right hook to the jaw of Illumi, The attack connected and the male dropped to his knees coughing and choking as if he was being suffocated. The attack he couldn't fully comprehend and most of the guild's member's had known what Illumi had fallen victim to, The male Illumi had been struck by the Poison Dragon Talon directly, Which caused him to deeply inhale the intoxicating gas which damaged internal organs. Midnight not be old enough knew that no true harm would come from the attacks at least not yet but as Illumi coughed more some grew worried, sprawled onto his back holding his throat before he stopped struggling and laid lifeless the room fell silent as all looked at one another and even Midnight seemed a bit nervous yet to himself Ace kept a very small smile knowing Illumi's plan. 20 seconds passed of the dramatic pause then in an instant Illumi began rising to his feet as if the effects of the previous attack had little to no effect on him an evil smile crossed his face as each of his fist would glow a vibrant pearl white then vanish almost as soon as they had appeared. Once more Illumi performed a blunt straight forward rushing attack his body being propelled forward by a stream of white light which trailed behind him as he traveled, Midnight shook her head and chuckled as she had stepped to the side once more to avoid the attack but as she stepped to the side Illumi didn't punch he stopped and turned to face the female who was mid round house kick which Illumi had blocked using his left forearm. The gas that Midnight had used to attack vanished slowly but not of her own will the she noticed that within his right eye was a glowing purple no violet hue which matched hers. He had been adapting his body to absorb the magic power she had used against him and being able to turn it into a weapon of his own. His free right arm raised and the gas firm in which Midnight's attack usually took was a cloud of white smoke or poison we could say and An evil grin that once crossed
his face vanished. The male looked deeply into the girls eyes and the gas ball had retracted and Illumi returned to normal, His eyes each red and his lungs back at full capacity and his arm not yet bruised but still stung slightly as he returned to Ace's side.

"You should've shown her how it feels to be poisoned from the inside out......You could've died from that Talon you know...."
"If I ever let a weak attack like that take me down I deserved to die you know I'm hard to kill anyway....Mom proved that."

The two carried on their conversation for about twelve minutes each stepping away from the others to have some privacy. Meanwhile Sayuri looked
at Midnight and Midnight back to her each a bit confused as to what had happened. Midnight wanted to approach the two twins but feared first impressions were already bad between them.

"Cone on Sayuri let's......Sayuri?!"
Looking for her sibling Midnight slightly raised her voice then noticed Sayuri  was sitting directly beside Ace the same male she had feared just minutes ago but was apparently now best friends with them, Her legs kicked back and forth as she started telling stories of all the times Midnight had protected her from bullies and how well she was being cared for. This even made Ace crack a smile while Illumi was almost as happy as Sayuri was. Midnight approached,  Cautiously as she was still unsure of whether or not they were at good terms but she soon blushed deeply as she noticed Illumi scoot over patting the seat next to himself.

"Oh come on Middy wont you join us for a few stories?"
"Yes sister Middy please tell them how cool you are!!!!"
"Hmm I am bore why not listen in on some free entertaining fun."

This seemed to be the beginning of something amazing or.....The end of something awful.
