It was your senior year in college. It was Friday afternoon and the school bell had just rung to let you know that school was out. You walked outside the big double doors and waited for your best friend Ross. He hadn't arrived yet in line to pick you up but you thought sooner or later he would be there.

30 minutes had passed and Ross still wasn't there. You decided to get up and walk to his house. While you were walking to his house the it started to rain. By the time you got to Ross's street you were completely drenched in water, your clothes were soaked, and your make-up looked horrible.

You walked up to the Lynch's doorstep and knocked on the door. Several seconds passed, then you heard someone running to get the door. It was Rocky. Rocky opens up the door.
"Omg Kristina what happened??"
Rocky gestures with his hands meaning for you to come in. Then you break down into tears. Luckily, Ross couldn't hear you. Rocky leads you over to the couch and grabs you a blanket. You tell Rocky everything that happened. "Kristina I'm so sorry that Ross forgot to pick you up." Rocky yells up the stairwell for Ross.
He yells, "Ross get your butt down here right now." "Okay,okay I'm coming!" Ross runs down the stairs and sees you on the couch, wet, wrapped up in a blanket, and tears falling from your eyes. "Omg Kristina what happened to you?" "Seriously Ross, that's all you have to say?" "You really want to know what happened?" Ross nods. "Hmm? Let's see. Well I was waiting for you for half an hour in the parking lot at school and you never came! Then is started to rain when I was coming over here!! Ugh! How could you be so--"
Ross instantly kisses you. You kiss back. "Kristina, I'm so sorry about all of this. But I have one very important question to ask you?"
"And that is..?"
"Kristina we've been best friends for as long as I can remember. You make me laugh all of the time and I wouldn't want act crazy and weird with anyone else. I want to be with you forever." "But, what I'm trying to say is, Kristina will you marry me?" "Yes! Yes! A thousand time yes!" You instantly bring Ross into the biggest hug ever. You both end the hug and smile at each other. "Today has been the greatest day ever," you thought to yourself smiling.
