Gotham Academy

Dick picked Barbara up from her house so they could carpool to school, like they used to. They've been 'closer' lately, closer then they ever were before, and they love it. Babs loved feeling like she was apart of his life again, and Dick was happy to have Babs in his life. They still haven't told anyone. Well, they haven't, but Tim found out, and not in the way they would've wanted.

They arrived at school, walking close to each other. Their hands grazing each other's here and there, sending goosebumps up Dick's arm and heat to bite at Barbara's cheeks. The tension between each other had changed from comfortable to, sensual. They tried to laugh and joke, but their attempts didn't completely wipe it away. They continued on, making small talk, until they reached their lockers.

Waiting there impatiently was Molly Stewart. Molly was the popular girl in school. She always walked around with her little posse, acting as if she owned the place. Molly and Barbara didn't really get along. Mostly because Molly was a 'stupid slut with a rich daddy', as Barbara refers to her. While Barbara was a smart witty girl with a not-so-rich dad. They've bumped heads since middle school.

"Hi Dicky!" Molly greeted the handsome young man as he approached his locker, making him cringe at her perky voice.

"Molly, you're back already?" Dick asked trying to sound interested, but really didn't care, in fact, he was a little pissed she was back.

"Yup. I couldn't stand to be away from my boyfriend any longer." She said dramatically as she leaned closer to Dick with a grin.

Barbara rolled her eyes as Dick sighed. He was told to be nice to this girl because her father is a business partner with Bruce, and the Wayne's were always supposed to keep their good boy reps.

"Listen, we've been over this. I'm not your boyfriend." He said. He fail, however, to hide the annoyance in his voice.

Molly fake pouted and then smirked. "Yet." She added. "But you will be." She said with a mischievous grin.

Barbara sighed impatiently as the girl leaned against her locker. "Could you move?" Babs asked politely.

"Why should I?" Molly asked, as she looked the redhead up and down, disgust clearly written on her face.

"Because," Babs started as she took a deep breath, "that's my locker."

"Oh, you must be confused." Molly said. "You see, this is my locker now." She said with a wicked smile on her face.

Dick looked at her confused as Barbara just tried not to punch her in her stupid little 'new nose'. "What do you mean?"

"Well, I had gotten assigned a locker, but I really didn't want to be next to that person, so I thought, 'who is such a sweet girl and wouldn't mind trading?'" Molly went on, saying 'sweet girl' in a condescending tone. "And that's you isn't it?"

"I'm pretty sure the school wouldn't allow that." Dick interjected from where he stood.

Molly smirked. "If you give them enough money, they'll do anything."

"You can't do that." Babs said irritated.

"It's already been done." Molly stated, handing Barbara a box. "Here's your stuff," then she pulled out a small piece of paper. "and your new locker number."

"You went threw my stuff?" Barbara asked bewildered at her lack of respect.

Dick went over to Barbara and tried to calm her down. "That is not okay, Molly." Dick said to the snobby girl who was loosing interest with the conversation as she checked her manicured nails.
