He hadn't texted me at all. He told me he was going out with a couple friends today but he always ends up texting me in morning. I tried calling him for what felt like the hundredth time today only to be answered by his voicemail. I just kept my phone down focused back on my homework.
Two hours later and still not a single sign that he was alive. It was the final straw, I picked up my car keys and coat and made my way to the car. Maybe his phone's been off after he got home. I got to his house ten minutes later, and breathed a sigh of relief, his lights were on. I rang the doorbell and waited.
"He-Athena? Babe what are you doing here?"
Music flowed out from his house. As well as the sounds of girls, quite a few girls.
"Oh nothing. Just that I hadn't heard from my BOYFRIEND the whole day, every time I called there was no answer, and when I finally got so scared thinking something happened and went to his house, finding him entertaining other girls. Thanks Abel. You're great." I walked back to my car ignoring his pleas. Just as I reached my car, a hand stopped me and turned me around.
"Athe- Baby? Baby why are you crying?"
I hadn't noticed the tears flowing down my face due to my rage. The words I wanted to tell him, but nothing came out.
"Shit baby, I'm so sorry. It's not what it looks like I swear."
"Then what is it? Abel, imagine me not giving you a sign that I was alive the whole day, and you end up finding out I was with a few guys at my place. What would you think?"
"I'm so sorry love, I didn't think of it that way. Please stop crying baby."
Ignoring him once again, I just shook my head and got in my car.
"Bye, Abel."
