2 Months Later
Emily's POV:
So I'm now single. And have been for a month and a half. Alison is dating Zack. They hold hands and hug. He kisses her cheek and it's gross. I still have all of these feelings for her. Alison and I haven't talked since her first date with Zack after everything. We both have been avoiding each other. And it's hard, because her and I have gym together. So,when we change all I can do is stare at her. God she's so beautiful. I looked away before she could catch me. I was in a sports bra and shorts, when someone walked by.

Voice: "Like what you see?" My breath hitched...Ali..

I finished getting dressed and walked out of the locker room. Alison was staring at me as I was stretching. What's going on with her? She's never done this before. Not even when we were best friends. There's something up with her...

Alison's POV:
I knew Emily was staring at me in the locker room. She does it all the time. She always has. I still like Emily. A lot. Being apart from her showed me how much more I need her in my life. How much I truly love her. In both ways. She's the air I need to live. But I know it won't happen. I have to say goodbye. To these feelings. To Zack. If I still have feelings for Emily, I need to let Zack go so I don't hurt him. Or myself even more. Zack is great. And he deserves the truth. I was snapped out of my thoughts. I walked past Emily and whispered in her ear. I could see the tiny bumps on her arms become bigger and bigger. After class, I met up with my best friend CeCe Drake.

CeCe: "Hey blondie." She smiled.

Alison: I scoffed. "Hey."

CeCe: "How's lover boy?" She questioned.

Alison: "Actually, we need to talk. I need to tell you something, and I need some advice."

CeCe: "Okay. Shoot." We sat down at one of the tables outside of the cafeteria.

Alison: "So, 2 months ago I realised I had feelings for Emily an-"

CeCe: "Wait who?" She interrupted me.

Alison: "Americano. Straight...well almost at least.." I quoted what she said to Emily.

CeCe: "Oh Ali. She's cute. But continue."

Alison: "Anyways, I was seeing Zack at that point. We broke up. I told Emily I liked her. She said she didn't feel the same way about me. Then that same night she kissed me. She must have thought I was sleeping. But then Zack and I got back together the next morning and then we just stopped talking completely. Then today in gym I caught her staring at me while I was changing. And I whispered in her ear "Like what you see?" And then I left. But before I left, I saw I gave her goosebumps. Ce help me!!"

CeCe: "Woah...umm..well I mean she obviously kissed you for a reason. Maybe she's questioning? I don't know. But as of right now, you need to talk to her. Start as friends, and then maybe see how she feels." She said calmly as I was hyperventilating.

Alison: "Maybe you're right. But what if she doesn't love me back?" I said scarily. Then I was cut off by someone before I could go on.

Person: "Can we talk?" I knew that sweet, soft, and loving voice anywhere.

Alison: "Emily..." I whispered faintly.
