Marshall's Ex

It's been three weeks since Rubble's funeral and Skye went to jail. Everything was going great I have my handsome husband and my two beautiful kids. Rocky was with Zuma and Everest all the time. Even though Zuma and Rocky are a couple he still hangs out with Everest. Actually Everest made a new friend named Jake. He is a golden retriever pup. He is very cool and very playful. I feel they both have a big crush on each other. Anyways, everything was great until my phone got a text:

Chase: Honey, you got a text on your phone!
Skylar: Daddy's showering.

Just to tell you Skylar and Luther are both 10 years old now.

Chase: oh ok you have to get ready for school sweetie. And go wake up Luther as well.

Skylar: ok!

Skylar ran up the stairs to wake up Luther.

Skylar: Wake Up Luther!!!!!

Luther: uhhhhh five more minutes!

Skylar: your gonna be late for school!

Luther: *groans*

Chase finished cooking and put it on their plates.

Chase: Kids eggs and Bacon!!

Luther: wait breakfast!!!! Coming!!!!

Both of the kids sat and ate their breakfast. Chase took Marshall's phone to see who was texting him.

???: I miss you!

Chase: what the hell?

He started to text this person.

Remember this is on Marshall's phone so if I put chase saying it he is texting it but it's for Marshall.

Chase: who are you?

???: it's me, Devon, don't you remember me?

Chase: sorry not a clue.

Devon: I was your boyfriend I wanted to know if you would like to go out again?

Chase: I'm with someone already.

Devon: come on we made perfect chemistry. I miss you.

Chase: sorry but I don't thi-

Marshall: hey sweetie, why are you on my phone?

Chase: uh no reason. But for this!!!

Chase shows the phone to Marshall.

Marshall: what are you talking about Babe?

Chase: who is this Devon guy who says he was your boyfriend.

Marshall: that was my ex!

Chase: well apparently he wants to be together with you again so go ahead go date him instead.

Marshall: what are you talking about we are just friends now!

Chase: not what I read he still loves you so go date him!!

Marshall: Fine I will!!!!! 

Marshall storms out of the kitchen takes his car keys and drove away.

Skylar: daddy what was that?

Chase: it is okay sweetie.

Luther: will we ever see daddy again?

Chase: *cries* I don't know.

Marshall POV:

I can't believe that Chase broke up with me. I was heading to Devon's house. I was at his front steps, then I knocked on his door.

Devon: Marshall? I thought you were with someone.

Marshall: not anymore. Chase broke up with me.

Devon: oh that's terrible come in.

Marshall and Devon was sitting on the couch.

Devon: so what happened?

Marshall: I finished showering and I walked downstairs, then I saw chase with my phone. I asked what are you doing and he just started yelling at me and told me to leave. I didn't understand until he said your name. So I just came here and he told me to date you.

Devon: wait that was Chase I didn't mean to send it to him.

Marshall: what do you mean?

Devon: I know your my ex and I got over that but this other boy I was dating and he just broke up with me so I guess I got the wrong number.

Marshall: so it was a misunderstanding.

Devon: yep

Marshall: so.... I have to apologize to Chase quickly.

Devon: go to him Marshall!

I quickly got my stuff and went to my truck I started to drive back to the lookout and I was super excited to see Chase again.

I saw Chase walking on the beach with another pup. She had nice white fur and beautiful hazel eyes.

I hid behind a bush and I overheard their conversation.

Chase: is that ok?

???: yea

Chase picked up something on one knee.

???: Of course I will! Thanks Chase!

Then they started to hug.

I started to cry. Chase was going to marry someone else. I ran to my pup house and cried my self to sleep. Why Chase!
