I don't believe in love at first sight. I didn't love when I saw her the first time, or the second, or even the third. It had been years, years had passed since my first seeing her, and had probably seen her a million times and never felt anything. However when I saw her the next time the circumstances had changed, the meeting was of a different kind. In the time leading to that most recent meeting, I had spoken to her and learned thing about her I had never known. The millionth and first time I saw her, I felt something, something I had never known, it was the happiest day of my life. It's just too bad there won't be a millionth and second. I'm not saying I fell in love that day, but it's the closest I had ever gotten, and now I'm not sure I will ever get that close again.
