Killian's POV

The next morning I woke up and Emma was already gone. I went to the kitchen to make coffee and I saw water boiling. I hope that she's not feeling sick again. I headed towards the bathroom and just when I wanted to knock the door opened. "Hi handsome." She smiled but I could tell that she felt horrible. "Oh god come here, sit." I guided her back to the kitchen. "Killian I'm fine now. It was just a small sickness. Don't worry about me." I gave her a look. "Swan you're feeling bad, let me take care of you please." I kissed her cheek and gave her a cup of hot tea. "Okay. I just didn't want you to overreact because I really wanted to go to the shelter's."

I smiled at her while I sipped my coffee. She was so adorable. "If you really feel better we can go after breakfast. Is that good?" She jumped off the chair. At first I thought she's gonna hug me or something but then she ran off to the bathroom. She came back after a few minutes, fully dressed up.

"Before you say anything I swear I feel much better, don't worry please. I'm even hungry which is a good sign right?" I was worried but of course I give in. "Okay then let me look at you." I walked over to her and pecked her lips. She pulled me by my pants and kissed me roughly. "See? I'm okay. Let's just go. Pretty please?" She looked at me with her puppydog eyes which I couldn't resist.

I hope that if we'll have a daughter she's not gonna do this to me. Wait what if Emma's not just sick? I went upstairs and got dressed as well.

Emma's POV

We headed out to the shelter's after Killian got ready. I was suspicious about this sickness especially because I only felt sick in the mornings. I drove and I stopped at the grocery store. "I'm just buying us something to drink I'll be here in a few." I kissed his lips softly and went in. I bought some refreshers and I bought something else too.

A pregnanc test.

I carefully hid it in my bag, I didn't want to tell it to Killian yet. I smiled like an idiot, just the thought of possible pregnancy gave me a good mood.

I sat back to the car and gave Killian the bags. I kissed him again and we continued our way. "What caused you to be this happy Swan? Not that I'm complaining I'm just curious." Killian asked.

"Nothing. Can't I be happy without a reason?" I looked at him for a brief second and he smiled at me. "Yeah I guess you can. Especially that you have a devilishly handsome boyfriend sitting next to you." He smirked at me and I just laughed. "You're getting the hang of this driving thing." He said. "What do you mean by that? You saying that I'm a bad driver?" I asked. He better not say it. "No no no of course not. What I'm saying is that you actually drive pretty well." He squeezed my thigh.

We got there and I looked through all cages. You know the thing they say about the dog choosing you and not the other way around? Well we were walking back towards the exit and all dogs were barking and scratching the bars, all except one. This one was just sitting there silently, looking at us. I saw hope in his eyes.

"Swan, he's the one." Killian said. We couldn't keep our eyes off him.

"Hi sweetie! Would you like to come home with us?" I crouched down and he just sat there like before but his tail was shaking like hell. He was panting, I could tell that he liked us. "I'll go and ask them if he's available. I'll be back." Killian said to me and kissed me quickly. I was just looking into this dog's eyes and he did the same. Somehow he was special and I knew it.

"Swan he's okay. Come, we'll have to fill some papers and then we can take him home." I held Killian's hands. I was so excited.

After we finished with the paperwork we went back with one of the employees. He said that he was about two years old. They found them with another 6 puppies and he never found a home, people didn't think he was cute. He was very kind.
