Football One Shots

Beach days | Lionel Messi

You awakened to the sound of soft giggles and opened your eyes to see that the other side of the bed was empty. You looked to the other side of the room, where the sun was shining through the window, lighting up the whole room. For a minute you just laid there and enjoyed a moment of peace before standing up and walking towards the window. The beach was right in front of the big house you have rented for your beach holiday.
You sighed in content before walking out of the bedroom and into the living room to find Lionel sitting on the ground and playing with your two sons. "Good morning." You stated after a while of watching them play. "Mummy!" Thiago immediately exclaimed and walked over to you. You quickly got down on your knees to be the same high as him. Giggling, the little boys threw his arms around you. "We're playing with daddy." He said and pointed towards his dad with his small hands. "That's cool." You replied before kissing his head and walking over to Mateo. "Good morning, sweetheart." You said and kissed his head, too, making him giggle. "Mommy!" He exclaimed, which made your smile grow even wider.
You walked over to Lionel and sat down next to him after quickly pecking his lips. "Good morning, amor." He said and wrapped one of his arms around your waist. "Have you slept well?" He asked as he smiled at you. "Perfectly well." You replied and smiled back at him before turning back to your sons. "So, what are you playing?" You asked and giggled slightly as Thiago handed you one of his toy cars. "Thank you." You said and played with them for a while. "So, aren't you guys hungry?" You asked and all of them nodded. "Okay, you can continue to play with daddy and I will make breakfast for us." You suggested and walked into the kitchen to start preparing breakfast.

After you finished eating you wanted to go to the beach. While you changed into your bikini, Lio helped Thiago to find his swimming trunks and then found some clothes for Mateo before getting into his own swimming trunks. "Is everyone ready?" You asked as you took Mateo in your arms. "Yes." Lio replied and took the bag with all of your things in one hand and Thiago's hand in his other. You walked the few meters to the beach and found a place where it wasn't that full. "This place is good, isn't it?" You asked as you laid the blanket onto the sand. Thankfully, it wasn't too hot today. You carefully sat down on the blanket to not wake Mateo up, who was sleeping peacefully in your arms.
"Can we play football?" Thiago asked his dad and already took the ball out of the bag. "Of course." Your husband replied and they started to kick the ball around. You watched them for a while, enjoying to see how much fun they had. After some time they wanted to go into the water and since Mateo has woken up meanwhile, you decided to join them with Mateo in your arms. You carefully walked a few meters into the water, while Mateo was looking around the whole time and giggled slightly. Only a few meters away, Lio and Thiago were splashing each other with water. "Mummy, come over." Your older son said and waved at you. "I can't, sweetheart." You replied, but Lio quickly walked up to you. "I can take him for a while." He said and you carefully handed Mateo to him before walking over to Thiago, who immediately started to splash you with water. "So this is why you wanted me to come over?" You asked, making your son giggle. You looked to the side for some moments and smiled as you saw Lio talking to his little son before you started to splash Thiago with water as well.
After some time in the water you all got out and quickly dried yourself. You took Mateo back into your arms and placed your head on Lionel's chest as he wrapped an arm around your waist. "What do you want to do now?" Lio asked his older son, who yawned in response. "Maybe we should go back to the house." You said and giggled slightly. "Alright." Lio replied and put everything back into the bag before taking Thiago's hand again. You walked back to the house and after changing into some other clothes you put the two boys into their beds before you both sat down on the balcony.
"This is so beautiful." You commented and Lionel immediately nodded. "You're right." He replied and took your hand. "Thank you." He stated, making you raise your eyebrows slightly. "For always staying with me." He explained, which made the smile on your face grow slightly. You leaned over to him and pressed your lips to his in a long kiss. "I love you." You stated as you broke apart. "I love you, too." Lio replied and looked at you with a bright smile. "This is perfect."
