Ashton "

"So what was this fight about this time?" The principal dragged out her words and sighed before sitting down in her office chair.

I pulled up a chair to her desk and plopped down in it. She gave me an annoyed look for doing that.

"Nothing! I was going to help stop it but I ended up getting this in the proccess!" I pointed to my bloody nose that now has a tissue over it. Tears were still coming out of my eyes because it stung so much.

"And why would you do that? It obviously has nothing to do with you."

"Well-" I took a sharp breath and leaned on her desk. "I asked the kid to do something for me and he decided to do it at a very bad time and he ended up getting beaten up my Charlie for it. I didn't tell Charlie to do that I swear!" I raised my hands defensively. She pursed her lips and tapped her long red nails on the desk before talking again.

"What did you want him to do that would get him in so much trouble?" She said harshly and I shrugged.

"I asked him to tell Amy I was breaking up with her and she got her brother Charlie."

"Suprising." She said sarcastically. So many fights in this school start from dating and break ups.

"I'm getting Amy." She stated quickly and reached for her phone. My heart stopped and I stared at her in fear.

"Oh stop being a baby." She picked up her phone and pressed a button and held it up to her ear.

"Is Amy Kaven there?"

She nodded and sighed before rubbing her forehead.

"Could you please send her to the principals office? Thanks." She set the phone down but it rang immediately.

"Yes?" She paused for an answer. "I see. Thank you for telling me."

She turned back to me and heaved a heavy annoyed sigh.

"Charlie is in police custody right now." She shrugged.

"Whatever. Not like that's going to do anything. He is just going to get right back out easily." I mutter boredly and I fumble with the end of my jacket sleeve.

"That Damian kid's Dad is a lawyer, I bet he will end up doing something about it. I had a meeting with his father a week ago and... well he is very smart. I don't doubt things will be different."

There came a quick loud knocking at the door.

"Come in!" The principal yelled. I heard the open and I refused to turn and look.

"Hey." I heard a voice say and the creaking of the chair next to me. I slowly turned my head to see Amy smiling at me.

"Hi!...." I try to say with enthusiasm but fail.

The principal then clears her throat loudly and stops us from making any more conversation. I click my tongue quickly and sink further in my chair. Amy puts on a fake smile and waits for the principal to continue speaking.

"I've believed you called for your brother Charlie to beat up that kid Damian. Why is that?" The principal began.

"What!? Did he tell you this!?" Amy yelled and pointed to me. The principal nodded and motioned for her to keep her voice down.

"That's not important. Is this true or not?" Amy was getting more and more flustered about this and she shook her head quickly.

"No! This was all of Charlie's doing!"

"Okay. But if I talk to other students would they say you're lying?"

"NO! I'm not lying! There is absolutely no point in asking because I'm not lying!"

We all sat there in silence for a minute or so while me and Amy watched as the principal wrote something down on papers.

"Get out." The principal said without looking up at us in a harsh tone. Me and Amy quickly scurried out of the room. I power walked my way to my next class so I wouldn't have to talk with Amy.

The next day Damian didn't come into school. I was feeling guilty for all this. It's pretty much my fault all this happened. Though I didn't intend for him to say it to her with Charlie around. Charlie hasn't come to school either so I'm guessing he is still in police custody. I'm suprised after all the fights he has had that he had never once got expelled.

The day was long and boring, as usual. I have been ignoring Amy the whole day. When we share classes together I'm always the first one out the door.

This is going to be an interesting week.
